*found these on youtube, thought they were kinda deep.. 8 is pretty funny but yeah*

1. If you had to choose between your life as it is now--you'll never be any better off than you are at this moment--or a life where you would become President of the United States (or whatever the highest public office is in your country) but you get assassinated a year before leaving office, which would you choose?

2. Would you rather be the greatest genius of all time but so beyond people's comprehension that you'd never appreciated until long after your death or a person who is perceived as a genius in his own time but is later thought of as a mediocre hack who was overrated?

3. Would you rather have an ugly sexual partner who was immensely satisfying in bed but embarassing (in that people know you're ****ing someone so ugly) or a beautiful lover who sucked in bed but made others deeply envious of you?

4. Would you rather be the lead singer of an extremely mediocre but popular rock band or the world's greatest poet with a small fan following?

5. If you had a chance to open one of two doors and one door led to the fulfillment of all your dreams and the other had an ax murderer who would chop you into pieces as soon as you you opened it, would you choose to open a door?

6. If by killing yourself all of your enemies would be destoyed as well, would you kill yourself?

7. If you had to take a car trip with either vietnam vet with serious mental health problems and had a gun on his person at all times or a conservative Christian who passed judgment on everying you did, who would you choose?

8. If you could obtain immortality by stomping a little girl's pet kitten to death before her crying eyes every Christmas, would you do it?

9. If you loved someone with all your heart and they hated everything about you, would you shorten their life by 10-years if it meant they would love you in return?

10. If you died and went to Hell and it was every bit as horrible as the Christians say it is and the devil offered you a one year reprieve from the agony of Hell for each person you tempted to damnation, would you take his deal?

1. I'd keep my life. I don't really want to be president.
2. I'd like to leave a legacy and be remembered as a great person, even if I'm not understood while alive.
3. There are other factors. But probably the second one.
4. Lead singer
5. Sure, might as well go for it. What's the worst that can happen? Oh, right.
6. If I had a lot of enemies.
7. The Christian. At least they don't have a gun.
8. No, I don't think I want to live forever.
9. No, if they don't love me I wouldn't take 10 years from their life to get love. There's always someone else.
10. Probably, I'm pretty weak. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

1. My life as it is now. I like being obscure and unknown...lol.

2. I'd rather just be me. I'm not a genius, but I'm sure as heck not mediocre.

3. I think I'll stick with being single.

4. The poet. My favorite bands fall in that category of "great poet with small following"

5. You take that chance every day when you wake up in this day and age. I'd pick one. I fully believe in going balls to the wall for your dreams.

6. No. I would not give them the satisfaction, death is too good for that person.

7. The vet. Hands down.

8. Hell no. Immortality is overruled anyway. I think you'd see way more than you bargained for.

9. Their life? HAHA... hmmm.... can I just shorten it by 10 years and not have them love me? I don't want to force ANYONE to love me.

10. I don't believe in hell or the devil. Irrelevant...lol

1. my life as it is now... hands down

2. unacknowledged genious...

3. ugly lover... looks aren't everything. and they dont last.. i mean they must've had some sort of charm that got me to sleep with him initially

4. lead singer...rick band would be fun... I would just accept the eventual decline of popularity and quit while im ahead (britney)

5. yea, why not, I'd die either way eventually... and no one else is at risk...whats the point of living if there is no risk

6. no.

7. the vet, just because I'd have one hell of a story to tell

8. heck no.. thats just sick

9. nope

10. no no no

1)i dont want that much responsibilty, i have enough responsibilites as it is so i'll keep my life

2)i'd rather be remembered for the person i was after i'm dead than worry about what others think of me while i'm alive

3) well assuming i'm attracted to that person enough to sleep with them who gives a damn about what other ppl think its not their life so i'd rather have someone others thought was ugly but i knew was great in bed than have someone everyone else wanted

4) i'd rather be the poet , why would i want to be hounded by mobs of fans the rest of my life

5)i'd rather work hard to fulfill my dreams screw opening the door and risk leaving my kids without a mom on a chance

6)i wish no harm upon my enemies, i would not kill myself

7) again , i'd rather have someone judge me than risk being shot by a crazy vet.. bullet wound to the wrong spot is fatal , ppl judging everything i do can be ignored

8) i could never kill an animal even if it meant i'd live forever

9) why , what would be the point then i'd live with the guilt of putting them in an early grave, i'll just wait till someone who loves me comes along and truely be happy

10) if i'm condemned to hell then i must have done something to deserve it, an eternity of reprieve wouldnt be worth the damnation of anothers soul

1. I would be president. I wouldn't be making much of an inpact on the world if I stayed like this.

2. I'm already the greatest genius of all time

3. Eh..well i'm assuming she's at least decent looking enough for me to choose to be with her so..."ugly".

4. World's greatest poet.

5. Yes

6. I don't really have any...so no.

7. The vietnam vet. I'm Jewish so I can only imagine what that trip would be like.

8. I don't want to live forever. Who honestly would? Think about it, that would be terrible. Plus I'm a cat lover happy

9. I want to say no, but it's just so tempting to say yes.....

10. Not a chance.

8. If you could obtain immortality by stomping a little girl's pet kitten to death before her crying eyes every Christmas, would you do it?

Yes, absolutely. To do such a thing every year would be a sacrifice for most people (and I'm a vegan AND a cat person). However, the death of one kitten and the psychological trauma caused to the girl and myself is insignificant compared to the good one could do with a mandate to immortality.

And I think the kitten sacrifice would make the immortality that much more meaningful. I'd have to make that kitten's death really be worth what I'd do with the rest of the time.

Imagine...every year, you dedicate all the amazing things you would have done to that murdered kitten? Sure, for the first many years, you might not be able to do too many great things...after a while, though, you'd become a pretty incredible human being who could do a lot of good.

Plus, if I ever wanted to die, I'd just not kill the kitten that Christmas!

Rlynne, about number 5. What if your "dreams" are that your kids live full, meaningful lives? Still, it's a tough choice...'cause you might just die. I think I agree with you still on this one, at least for you.

Myself, I'd open the door! ^_^

It's interesting to see everyone's opinion on this. I've witheld mine until I got a few responses.. So here it goes..

1. I'd be president, Screw this life.. and That could be more than my life expectancy as it is... I mean I could walk out in front of a bus somehow tomorrow.. Who knows.. And, that could be 3-7 years if I was president.. Atleast it would be quick and painless.

2. I'd be the genius well beyond my time.

3. I'm with everyone on this one.. Assuming I'm with her in the first place.. To hell with what other people say.

4. World's greatest poet.. Hands down

5. I'd open the door.. What's life without risk?

6. Sure... If I was actually in the army.. Think about it... I could single handedly *sp* end the war(s) in the middle east! I'd be a hero!

7. The vet.. Because the only way I'd go with the rightious person is if I had a loaded gun... They wouldnt last 5 miles haha.

8. LMFAO.. Ok that was one of the most messed up things I've ever heard as a question.. But, I'll just quote queen... "Who wants to live forever"

9. No, plain and simple. Screw em if they don't love me why would I want them to and then down the road outlive them by 10 years to the day or something.

10. Oh you better believe it..HAHA.. I mean c'mon.. Of course I'd go after the people that were on the fence... Like not sure if they should join a religion or just be hell raisers and live they're life how they want.. I'd tell them... "Come over to the dark side.. We have cookies"

1) I wouldn't care to be president, certainly not in these times of liberal 'feel good' politics and mass media propaganda.

2) Being a 'genius' isn't a popularity contest. That said, I wouldn't much care to be either, I like my current mind.

3) I don't base my relationship decisions on sexual performance, or what others think of my partner. So I can't answer this question one way or the other, as neither scenario would make a difference to me.

4) If a mediocre rock band is very popular, are they truely 'medeocre'? If the worlds greatest poet had a meager audience, is he really the worlds greatest poet? That said, I have a greater appreciation for music than poetry so I would have to say the former.

5) Given the stakes, yes I would open one. Of course, I would remember to duck.

6) If I killed myself, what would it matter that my enemies were destroyed? If they were solely my enemies, then nothing would be gained by destroying them and killing myself.

7) Christians don't have a monopoly on 'passing judgment' everyone does it. I'm not afraid of firearms, but if we're talking a person with known mental issues and not just percieved mental issues, then I would prefer a judgmental person in the car.

8) No. I would not let the potential gain cloud my understanding of right and wrong.

9) No. Again, same answer as #8

10) No. Same answer as 8&9

As an anarchist, I would never accept any sort of public office regardless. So: Life as it is now.

2. Would you rather be the greatest genius of all time but so beyond people's comprehension that you'd never appreciated until long after your death or a person who is perceived as a genius in his own time but is later thought of as a mediocre hack who was overrated?

I'm already the first one, so that's that.

3. Would you rather have an ugly sexual partner who was immensely satisfying in bed but embarassing (in that people know you're ****ing someone so ugly) or a beautiful lover who sucked in bed but made others deeply envious of you?

The first, because I really don't care what anyone else thinks.

4. Would you rather be the lead singer of an extremely mediocre but popular rock band or the world's greatest poet with a small fan following?

Writing gives me more pleasure than music.

5. If you had a chance to open one of two doors and one door led to the fulfillment of all your dreams and the other had an ax murderer who would chop you into pieces as soon as you you opened it, would you choose to open a door?

Not at this time.

6. If by killing yourself all of your enemies would be destoyed as well, would you kill yourself?

No, I really don't have any enemies. The closest thing I've got is the small group who refuse to deal with me on here, and that's more of a blessing than a problem.

7. If you had to take a car trip with either vietnam vet with serious mental health problems and had a gun on his person at all times or a conservative Christian who passed judgment on everying you did, who would you choose?

Vietnam vet. His problems, at least, have a foundation in reality.

8. If you could obtain immortality by stomping a little girl's pet kitten to death before her crying eyes every Christmas, would you do it?

No. I don't want to be immortal and I like cats.

9. If you loved someone with all your heart and they hated everything about you, would you shorten their life by 10-years if it meant they would love you in return?

Too manipulative. I'd let her go and look for someone more compatible. Probably not on a dating site though.

10. If you died and went to Hell and it was every bit as horrible as the Christians say it is and the devil offered you a one year reprieve from the agony of Hell for each person you tempted to damnation, would you take his deal?

As an atheist, I find it difficult to imagine this scenario. If it actually came to that, I really don't know what I would do. Need more information, I guess.

People who would do well in positions of power are never those who seek it.
Public office, hmm. Nice in theory but not serving its purpose. My career and station are fulfilling.

2. Would you rather be the greatest genius of all time but so beyond people's comprehension that you'd never appreciated until long after your death or a person who is perceived as a genius in his own time but is later thought of as a mediocre hack who was overrated?

I have to say neither. I'm smart, but a work in progress. Perpetually.

3. Would you rather have an ugly sexual partner who was immensely satisfying in bed but embarassing (in that people know you're ****ing someone so ugly) or a beautiful lover who sucked in bed but made others deeply envious of you?

Satisfaction is paramount in the bedroom!

4. Would you rather be the lead singer of an extremely mediocre but popular rock band or the world's greatest poet with a small fan following?

Poet, of course.

5. If you had a chance to open one of two doors and one door led to the fulfillment of all your dreams and the other had an ax murderer who would chop you into pieces as soon as you you opened it, would you choose to open a door?

No, I prefer to strive for what I have rather than have it given to me. We appreciate what we earn, not what we are handed.

6. If by killing yourself all of your enemies would be destoyed as well, would you kill yourself?

No. Is this a serious query?

7. If you had to take a car trip with either vietnam vet with serious mental health problems and had a gun on his person at all times or a conservative Christian who passed judgment on everying you did, who would you choose?

Vietnam vet.

8. If you could obtain immortality by stomping a little girl's pet kitten to death before her crying eyes every Christmas, would you do it?

Fvck NO! Helping a child today is to write the history of tomorrow.

9. If you loved someone with all your heart and they hated everything about you, would you shorten their life by 10-years if it meant they would love you in return?

No freaking way.

10. If you died and went to Hell and it was every bit as horrible as the Christians say it is and the devil offered you a one year reprieve from the agony of Hell for each person you tempted to damnation, would you take his deal?

No, wait, that sounds a lot like that TV show, Supernatural... those boys are hawt....laugh
