Topic: US guilty of terrorism

will America ever return to her greater glory. or wallow in madness and mayhem? Our media seems to have forgotten that america itself was found guilty by The International Court of Justice for state sponcored terrorism against Nicaragua. I do not know how many of you remember the Iran/Contra affair. We supported the contras (terrorists) against the elected government of Nicaragua and sold drugs and missles to fund them after congress rightfully cut off the funding. Its funny how we americans have such a short memory but the people we slaughter with our hypocracy do not.

You may be amused, but does that mean that you will give our land back? Or are you just one of them meaningless blowhards? It takes intelligence & a sense of honor to feel an insult. Believe me, the only insult that I see here, is you. Try sticking to your scruples, are you moving yet? Put your money where your mouth is. I don't recall anybody giving the land to you, how about you just get quiet or live up to what you say.

Sorry bro I was born here. Your issues go back a few hundred years and have nothing at all to do with the topic of this thread. Maybe a thread about the theft of indian land would be the place for this. I know something about the topic and would be happy to contribute.

Nicaragua did the right thing when it was attacked by american supported terrorists , they took it to t he world court and they won. Predictibly america ignored the rule of law and failed to pay restitution or punish the guilty parties. Ollie North even got a gig on Fox news.

You know what really irks me? I'm not even american, and I'm not even "pro-american". I'm north-american. There are many times that I am against the american govt. for their policies or actions (Iraq being one of them), I am also honest and pro-people. If you want others to quit swinging at you, you must first quit swinging at them. THATS only common sense.

The irony of the whole thing though, is Oliver North was in communication with Manuel Noriega the entire time, Hmmm wonder where the drugs came from?

Inernational law states a blockade is an act of war. are we a nation of laws or a nation of bullies? Do laws apply equaly and with justice or only when they are conveniant to our twisted ends?

A bigger Irony was we sold Missles to Iran to fund them. Iran at the time was labled a terrorsits state and under trade sanctions bythe same government that sold them the missles. We must be ruled by lunatics

Blockades weren't put up as an act of war, they were put up as an act of protection. Do you lock your doors at night or when you go away? Just use your head and realize whats what. I understand that its ha-ard but. You would not invite a killer into your house, neither should they have to. If you understood the situation over there, you would know that its just a family squabble thats lasted for thousands of years. For pete's sake, don't be dim. Nobody likes the situation over there, but all I see from you is complaining and no solution. A solution needs to be acceptable by all.

I suppose they had to say something to justify the blockade. International law states a blockade is an act of war. Its not my law but a law writen by the nations of the world. please be reminded this thread is about the USA being found guilty by the world court for statesponcored terrorism against Nicaragua we have several threads started about the slaughter of the people of Gaza.

madisonman- Please feel free to turn yourself in to the proper authorities for punishment if you feel so strongly about this issue. Afterall, you are an accomplice to these crimes (and EVERY other atrocity you believe the US government has committed within your adult lifetime). It was YOUR tax dollars that YOU paid to fund these crimes (if you work and/or contribute to the US society at all... not to mention what you benefit from as well). It was officials YOU elected into office to represent you (IF you voted or eligble to vote). Your apologetic Nuremberg defense of "I'm just following the law/orders" won't work. You may not have pulled the trigger my amigo; However, you did pay for the guns and ammo and every other item required to commit these "terrorist" acts. The only honorable liberal thing for you and your ilk to do is to turn yourself in, take personal responsibilty for your participation, and accept your fate.

Verry simplistic and off target. Who said I voted for them? and when they were running for office did they say they planned to violate international law? of course not. I did sign the petition to impeach Bush by the way to no effect. Are you suggesting "gasp" I become a terrorist since I have no other means to address the issues? I realy do not even think your comments were worthy of a reply but it may get interesting eventualy

Your inability to perceive things from the bigger picture was anticipated. I'll try to simpify things even further for you. IF you live in the US, ANYTHING that you do here (career/collecting welfare, paying taxes, purchasing goods and services) as a citizen- contributes to the actions you are so opposed to. On the flipside, they also contibute to your failed socialistic experiments/beliefs (which I did not sign off on either, nor supported/voted for politicians who do/did). That is called "reality". No matter who you voted for (if you voted), those elected still represent you, regardless if you agree with them or not. Liberal myopic selectivism, typical of your breed. Obviously you aren't familiar with a little obsolete term called "sedition" either. Was it not the liberal enviormentalists who suggested those who purchased SUV's were supporting terrorists as well? As they say "What's good for the goose...".

There's no shame in you admitting you're guilty of crimes against humanity as being part of one of, if not the biggest terrorist organization in the world according to socialist liberals. You reap the benefits of this terrorist organization every single day. The same farmers that feed these American "terrorists"... feed you. The same terrorists that provide you with everything you have... including safety and security from those who would rather chop off your head than to look at you twice (just ask the late Daniel Pearl).

"Are you suggesting "gasp" I become a terrorist since I have no other means to address the issues?". Not become one, you are one already by your residency in the US and funding your fellow terrorists. Granted, you're not quite Bill Ayres caliber when it comes to addressing issues you disagree with, yet, or that I am aware of. That crushing weight you feel is the weight of your own hypocrisy and double standards collapsing upon you and your ilk.

Thank you for your kind considerations and deeming my post worthy of your reply, I'm touched and honored.
