There's the issue of gifts and an investment in the future that a couple might make in each other but that aside it is illegal to sell an organ (except in Nevada where it's not so much a sale as a time share...hahah bad joke)

The guy doesn't have much legal ground to stand on that I can see with a quick look.

Breach of promise? Yeah maybe

Perhaps this suit really wasn't about being paid for his organ as it was about getting the word out in a very public way that she mucked around on him and was a faithless and ungrateful slut?

Because honestly folks it looks like she was and I suppose it's a good think that she receives a little public humiliation.

This man made a real sacrifice for her and she thanked hm by cheating.

the news media isn't exactly reporting the whole truth

it sounds better and gets people worked up

his actual demand was to either allow him the visitation with his kids OR give back the kidney. It was mostly just a tactic to get his visitation back

but it sounds better to leave that part out

wonder if he would have giving his kidney to anyone or just the woman he loved?

i'm not saying she should give the thing back but there is some standard of morals that need to be followed here.

oh yeah this is america we don't have any morals anymore
she should made to pay for the gift of an longer life

so she has to stay indebted to him forever, because of the fact he donated an organ?

what if the guy was a jerk, abused her, cheated on her, etc.? because she had his kidney, she was to remain docile, compliant and loyal?

i think that any person who denies the other parent access (except in extreme abuse cases, which the court would decide upon anyway) isn't that great of a parent.

if that's the threat that allows him back his children, then i say 'go for it'. cause i'd stop at nothing short of that either to ensure i got visitation with my kids (if the need ever arose).
