Does it really or do we just notice it more when things seem to go wrong? Do we create more stress, by looking for it when things are going wrong, or does it come all at once?

Seems like as soon as you start to overcome one thing, life throws another barrel at you for you to jump over.

For me, the crap hits in six-packs. One thing goes wrong, then another four or five things start to hit, and all with little-to-no silver lining present.

Really? that's not always the case with me.

It seems lately it's been making me more pessimistic, bitter maybe... I don't know if bitter would be the right word... maybe scorned? I don't know what the right word would be... but, it sure isn't making me a better person. ohwell

My equation I use for this sort of thing is...Change your thought patterns, take out the emotions, step out of the bitterness, take a look at the bigger picture, and you may just find it isn't that bad at all, and move forward to betterness..

As a side note, what you let your thoughts create today, determines your tomorrow...

Seems to me that it all comes at once. I am in the same boat. But all the bad things seem to have stopped, so now I can move forward

I wasn't looking for more things to go wrong. But my new car, that isn't even plated yet, was hit sometime between me parking at 5:00 last night and me going out to dinner for a friends birthday tonight at 5:30. They totally crumpled the left back bumper and cracked it half way across. At least it is only the bumper and a parking light. The tail lights and turn lights weren't touched. It looks like it will be less than my deductable. So I'll probably have to pay for it myself. Which means it will take a little bit of time to set enough money aside.

Can relate. Was venting once to a friend about life's ups and downs. After a few beers they looked me straight in the eye and said, "Where is it written that Life is to be easy?" To say the least at first I was POed. Yet the more I've thought about it, the more I have realized that is myth. Life throws us things to learn from and sometimes we don't learn it the first time around. Believe me, I've been in a situation with a high learning curve.
