I was wondering how many people only read the profiles if they like your picture?

I look at them by interest first then picture. how do you do it?

I am not the only one to read profiles? OMG!

I first check if they're at an age and distance to me that I am comfortable with, then pictures, then interests. I don't base anything off the pictures they just usually catch my eye.

Actually the name on the profile and the headline are my first interest and then I look at the pictures.

if I'm looking through the search results
I look at the picture, stats and headline in deciding whether or not to read the profile.
if I'm in the forums, I click on the profiles of those whose posts catch my eye.
their words, not their picture...okay maybe sometimes both =)
once I get to a profile I make it a point to read all that there is to read.
there has been one exception but I intend to pick up where I left off when I can invest some time.

I'm not saying its bad to look at the pics then read the profile. I was just wondering how most people did it since there are a few different choises. ( cant seem to spell right tonight either lol)

Spell about as good as you did when you made your profile.

I would have to say, when I search its a variety of things. A funny or well thought out profile is really important to me. Gives me a sense of who the person is and how serious they are

Any POSTER,,,for a post or a reply,,,I READ THEM first before my reply.
Because I want to feel lol if they are real or just here for sh!t and giggles...So that I don't just PLAY with them and NOT know their just passing through and could REALLY care less on STAYING around here...
Plus,,how can you just answer a question or have a thought about them at all..IF you don't read them?

I look by interest, and that filters it down to possibly 4 within a 100 mile radius. Then I compromise and look by slender, athletic and average, mentally ignoring the one's who believe average is 50 lb overweight, and then go to the eyes and smile. Then, and occasionally, I look for the scowls in the photos, and confirm that the attitude is there too to match it. Then, after being sufficiently bored, I go to the forums and look at the ones who strike my interest by wit, intellect or general stupidity or negativity. My interests appear to be both that of intelligence and morbid negativity so at this point, I have plenty to look at.

I view for the same reason. I want to know who they are first before i reply.
But sometimes when i first log in I see all those potential matches. one or two pics catch my eye and i have to go see what they are all about yeah.

Get real you are not going out with a avitar or a poster. Give me a picture or I am not going to take you serious for dateing.
Maybe if you say something really intrigueing in forums I might check and see if another picture is further down otherwise I figure you are married or in witness protection. lol
I will say looks are not that important but if it doesn't have a good vibe; a smile is pretty important, the first impression won't help you a lot and your text better be pretty good. Fill out all the questions.

I have a picture, but I use an avitar to show a little of my personality. I dont mind looking further for a picture if I am interested in seeing one after reading there profile. I dont think its fair to judge by not splashing there face all over. JMO

I prefer to read profiles and find out about people. Definitely age and distance play a factor.

However, regarding photos, I've noticed I need to see something interesting to pique my curiosity. Generally photos that look mean or sad tend not to do that for me. My heart melts with tender eyes and a nice smile.

I base it off the headline, rarely look at pictures if the profile doesn't strike me...rarely look at profiles period.
