You are 19 and questioning this? I'm 50 and I still do not know the answer, and I suspect many people on this site ask themselves that very question on regular basis.

Relax and enjoy the ride.

Yup, there sure is....

Life is all about timing and your willingness to take risks and put yourself out there to someone else. Just because you haven't found someone yet does not mean you wont. Honestly when I was your age I went through quite a few guys who were no good. It took me awhile to really find out what I was looking for. Take this time to find out who you are and exactly what you want so you know it when you find it. flowerforyou

I've been asking the same question for awhile now.

Most likely scenario is that there WAS, but I missed her....?

In life, I've found, that there is always a suitable replacement if you can let go of what you once thought was so perfect for you. In fact, sometimes the suitable replacement is an even better match than what once was, if you can open your eyes to the idea of it being feasible.

I used to think like that too.

What I discovered is that something has to exist before there's any sort of realistic chance of finding it....or being found by it....!

Lex,

Find solace in my belief that there is a sarcastic and fiercely feisty (yet adorable and fun) female out there for ever witty misanthropic soul such as yourself.

That's my hope, on some level -- but I can't say I find it a realistic one, in any way, shape or form....

One of the comforts of writing books is that it's something best done by oneself -- and maybe that's really better for me, anyway....
