Unfortunately this happens to me a lot.
It usually goes a little something like this: I read their profile, find out I’m not what they’re looking for and don’t even bother sending a message. They see I looked at their profile and decide to contact me. I have to tell them hey I don’t meet your criteria (if you read my profile you would know that). Then they say oh it’s not that important, I ask them why they bothered to put it on their profile if it’s not important. They either give up or start to argue with me, like that’s somehow going to win me over?
