Topic: Assemble yourselves together. | |
---|---|
Do you go to church? Church is were you praise the lord and have fellowship. It is also a place were you can stay strong in your faith by being with others likeminded as you. Anyone who is saved should want everyone to know about Salvation.
That great gift Jesus Christ gives to anyone who asks. The most important thing we can do for ourselves. Salvation is being in communion with God. I’m glad I have it now. Everyone needs communion with God. There’s a lot more to this life than being born and growing old and dying. It does sometime take serious consequences to bring us to Him. I hope everyone would here of and receive his Great Salvation without going through hard times. Jesus Christ came down to earth as a sacrifice for our sins. HEBREWS 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is ; but exhorting one another : and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Is it a commandment to go to church? Not that I have seen but if you don’t go to church you will have a hard time growing in Christ. You will probably stay on the milk of the word and not get to the meat of it. 1CORINTHIANS 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. HEBREWS 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. So were do you start? Ask for salvation. It’s as easy as having faith that He died on the cross and was buried and rose three days later to save you from your sin. Then find a good Christian church that serves God and join. EPHESIANS 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Here is a simple prayer you can pray to God. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for your salvation. The words themselves will not save you. Only faith in Jesus Christ can provide salvation! “God I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. With your help, I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness. |

Amen, brother. The good news is "whosoever will" according to the gospel. At first there was God's chosen people but now one can choose to be one of God's chosen people.
John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ![]() |
