Hackers hijack Google AdWords
Criminals have been hijacking sponsored links to attempt to spread
malicious code, search company says
Jonathan Richards

Computer users were warned of the potential hazards of Google today
after the company admitted that criminals had hijacked links displayed
in some lists of search results and attempted to install viruses on
users' machines.

It was unclear how many people were affected by the attack, which
targeted the sponsored links that appear on the right hand side of a
page and involved the user being sent to a malicious website before
being redirected to their desired destination.

Say speaking of hackers, i was told that hackers can get into your alarm
system by hacking, and how they do it is by deciphering your ID. Any IT
people out there that know about these things?

Duffy, I'm not sure what you are asking - are you asking whether people
can get into your home security system by getting into your pc via the
internet?

I knew a guy who installed home security systems - the systems he
installed did -not- connect to the internet at all, but they did
directly connect to some central monitoring place so that the police
could be notified. I had the impression that the way they did it was
very secure.

I'm sure it depends on what kind of home security system one uses.

First of all, people just need to know that anything yahoo is easily
hacked. As well as MSN.
Also Basicly anything that is windows geared.
