How friendly or accomodating is your town to strangers? Is it a small, clan-ish town where most are wary of "outsiders"? Is it a large, touristy city where the bulk of income comes from out of state? How friendly are YOU to strangers...be honest... |

I talk to everyone. Some of them even respond.

I treat everyone the same!!!! If you need help I will help you,,, I am just a nice person and very kind.... OH,,, I live way out in the wood's so if someone show's up at my house they are lost for sure...

This is the friendliest place on earth! Everyone smiles and waves at everyone here whether they know you or not. It actually took some getting used to when I first moved here. Now, I'm even doin it!

When I moved from Boston to a small town they knew I was an outsider & they are not too fond of city folk!!

Dublin is a great place when you're a stranger, most of Ireland is.
I treat each stranger on an individual basis, if I get a good vibe from them I'm more friendly to them. |

my town is horribly u friendly unless you are wealthy

My town is great, because it is a military town, we have new people in all of the time. It still has the small town feel to it, so it is a nice mixture.
As for strangers, I don't meet one. I try to look everyone in the eye and say hello. They may not speak to me, but I try to. |

I've travelled & lived all over this beautiful country & I'm still amazed when my perceptions are changed...or I become disillusioned.
I lived in a small, mountain, gold-mining/tourist town...the kind you expect a certain "hospitality" from...but not so true from underneath the surface... I've lived in huge, bustling cities where everyone appeared to be rushed & too busy...& found them to be very accomodating souls... Just goes to show that you can't judge a city or town just by appearances... |
