God floods entire the planet and drown everyone, kills the first born, promises to torture billions of people, allow for his only son to die needlessly, does nothing about the suffering and starvation of millions, allow for life to feast upon death in order to live as cannibals of life

in a suppose moral society and even in the bible this type of behavior is regarded as being evil but yet there are those that believe this behavior is good because it is their God that does the behavior ..so does that makes the follower of such a God inherently evil

if the person themselves are not committing these atrocities but yet approve and help promote and preach in favor of the one that does the atrocities are in fact aiding and abiding in the promotions of the atrocities

to become a follower and then praise an entity that would allow the systematic torment of others and then blames the victims is nothing short of having a sociopathic mentality and therefore is evil

so are followers of God followers because they are inherently evil and choose to follow a particular God because it tends to full fill their blood lust sociopathic fantasies

I can't remember who originally said this, but it fits:

"Without religion, we would have good people doing good things, and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, it takes religion."

or is religion used as an outlet so that supposedly good people can have an opportunity to do bad things and not have to shoulder all the responsibility for it,

you can kill someone and say that it was God's will, humans have the propensity to do evil or may want to do evil or have fantasies of others suffering and religion provides a way to release the "ID" and turn that fantasy world into reality by participation
