My thought is it comes from a Physicist. A physicist is a scientist who studies or practices physics. Its two different beliefs. I look at who it comes from.

Well, that's certainly true of what the Mediterranean picture of religion tries to do.

All they do is try to make innocent people feel guilty.

What are your thoughts on this quote?

It highlights a very normal social group think attitude that is pervasive within religions. However it is NOT just religion that can make good people do evil things.
