My 15 yr old son wants to have a sleep over...with a girl...am I just old fashion when I told him over my dead body??? You should have asked if the mom is single. very good question to ask See...thats another thing...he wouldn't tell me the phone # of the girls parents...lol That would be a definite NO then. I would need to talk to the other parents and verify everything is OK with them also. My son is 13 so I feel your pain.

do not allow your trian to derail I got a splitting headache from fighting with him...an hour of whys Here I am again, a nonparent, with a comment. Why are you arguing? Stop giving him the power to argue. No is no and he can sit in his room -- without all the high tech toys -- and deal with being a kid that shouldn't argue with his parent. My ass would have been beat with a belt if I even looked at my Mom with a 'why'. I don't agree with her severe corporal punishment, and my respect for her was really fear, but it got the job done!

He really thinks he is an adult, uh? He doesn't get that adult things are not for the child. WOW, I am sending you the best vibes and I'm kissing the ground that my tubes are tied!! No way would I put myself through parenting.

It's sad SOME people can't manage a middle ground in discipline. It's always the extremists that cause problems for the masses.

Think back .. to when you were that age.. Maybe a little trust and an open conversation on sex and the responsibilities or consequences there of.. And if you even think that's the reason. Give him a condom. Because you know damn well it will happen sooner or later with or with out your knowledge. TRUST HIM. I have been in this boat before and that is what I did. trust won out and he behaved himself

And he thought since I was considered a "Cool" parent that I would agree. HAH! WRONG AGAIN!!!!! Stick to your first instinct, THE ANSWER IS NO!!!!!! He can ask her out on a date or go meet her parents with you there. Have him ask if they would allow her to "Sleep over"> (This is the way it will back fire in his face as well!) If he doesn't want to give you info about her or meet her parents then, it is back to square ONE>>>>The answer is NO! Good luck!
