I agree, alcohol is by far the most dangerous of the 2 as far as
affecting other peoples lives..it's killed far more people..but
consistant use of marijuana is very harmful...legalizing it isn't going
to solve the problem...just drive up the prices and fatten the gov
pockets even more. Just like alcohol...it's legal to sell it but illegal
to get caught under the influence. To me any kind of drug is just a way
of hiding from reality anyway.

just my opinion

Consistent use of anything can be harmful.

I want to see facts. When facts are presented most of the 'its so
harmful' balderdash goes out the window.

I can CLAIM that breathing air is harmful to your health. That does not
make it true.

Life is harmful to your health. Once you start living you will
eventually die. How you make the journey is more important the getting
to the end.

I prefere to live it having explored all that I can and touch upon
everything that I can before I reach the end of my physical existance.

Else why take the journey at all?

CrazyJ I'm suprised that there wasn't a MYTH/FACT statement on whether
or not marijuana triggers schziopherina in teenagers. There have been
corralation of marijuana use and schziopherina. Some say that marijuana
use increases the risk of schziopherina others say people who may become
schziopherinic are attracted to the drug.

Also I've heard that marijuana has more tar and poison that a cigertte.

Another thing you did post a source for your information. For all we
know your source isn't based on sciencitific data at all.

OP, where'd you get your info from? NORML?

I could cut and paste a trillion websites with information about how pot
is harmful to one's health, but no need. I agree completely with what
Fed Man says...anytime you ingest smoke into your lungs, oh yeah, it's
harmful.

cut&paste a website or link is a hell of alot better then a cut and
paste a 50 page book that can be essentially summed up in a page. Like
Shadoweagle does he prints the book

besides marijuana, you should look into how the government rejects
alternative treatements for cancer.

if you or anyone you know ever gets cancer, absolutely do not under any
circumstance let them given you radiation therapy. This is far worse for
you than the cancer itself is.

look up laetrile/amygdalin for yourself, it is a much more effective and
safer treatement for cancer (and it is illegal in the US and most of the
EU).

Just another thing they can form a black market out of for profit
exploitation.

I must be getting old, because that is not ground breaking news. Its old
and in the 70's when more people did it. this report did nothing for
changing the laws. I highly doubt it will now at a time when we have
even less rights.

I will never get why its not legal here when its legal practically
everywhere else. I have a good friend of mine here thats from
Austrailia, he told me last night that you can grow up to 3 plants in ur
yard and have upto like half an ounce on you or something like that if
its in a single bag for personal use. I think the good ole' USA needs to
catch up.

Yeah, let's legalize it and let the government tax it. Works for
everything else.

I'm kidding folks, no hate mail please! laugh
