I just got done reading Odd Thomas, and what a book! It is now my favorite book. I also like his Frankenstein series, but been patiently for the release of the third book.

Whats your favorite book by Koontz?

He's of my fav.fiction writers.I have his entire collection.Odd Thomas,Brother Odd & 4ever Odd were great. As far as the next installment of Frankenstein is concerned that should be next mth.according 2 the D.Koontz fan club @ MySpace. It's hard 2 pick a #1 but I'm leaning towards Intensity.I read it at blistering speed & could not put it down.An incredible writer.S.KIng has nothing on him.

Even though it came out in November, I am still waiting to read "Your Heart Belongs to Me." In May one of the new ones "The Other Side of the Woods" is suppose to be on shelves.

I've found the Odd series unreadable along with all of his recent work. I still take them out of the library and give them a try, but I never get past the first 50 pages. Koontz's first couple of dozen books were mostly BRILLIANT. Strangers and Watchers are the pinnacle of his career. After that he started cranking them out to "feed the machine." It's been all downhill since the late 80's.

If you are talking about the book titled "IT" that is Stephen King not Dean Koontz

You can count another one here! I can't pick a favorite...but haven't read anything new from him in a couple of years.

I liked a couple of his pseudonym writings.

"Shadowfires" (writing as Leigh Nichols), and "The Mask" (writing as Owen West).

I'll still stick with King, though.

I'm a huge S.K. fan...but I don't really think it's a competition...I get a lil somethng different from both of them... As I'm kind of a nightowl myself, I do have a strong affinity for the Christopher Snow character in Fear Nothing & Seize The Night...& I love his dog, Orson.

i can't recall the name of it, but it's the one about the moon, where the people keep seeing it as blue.

i really quite liked his older stuff but have myself quite disinterested whenever i picked up something new.
