O.K. Ladies, younger women, older refined (I prefer to call them TOP SHELF) females.....
Here's my problem....I have met a few absolutley INCREDIBLE females from this site...they are witty, beautiful in their demeanor, are extremely complimentary.....but when it comes to the phone call (meeting each other voice to voice) I think that I may scare them off.....I am very....very....VERY soft spoken and I think that this is mistaken for a sign of being a girly-man. I have met this one lady in particular and we have had a few phone conversations...but it was (and is) me always calling her. I'm old fashioned, and don't mind what-so-ever chasing the girl, but sometimes it is nice to know that someone is really really interested in you enough to start the conversation and keep in going. Most times I feel that after a phone call or two, the women think I am a liar....I have been told by one young lady that "No man is that good"....You're loss..... Believe it or not ladies, there are a whole lot of men just like me who have been mistreated, lied too and cheated on and are just looking for a decent lady to spend time with and share a few laughs, if it gets romantic and physical then that is great....if not, it is always great to meet and make a new friend. I can speak from a similar situation with someone I dated. When a woman tells you "no man is that good", you might take that and think about it a minute. Let it ruminate for a bit and see if there is any truth to it. I'm not saying you're a "bad" person by any means, but possibly you are so busy putting your best face forward, that it may seem you are not genuine. Maybe let your hair down a little, just be you and be real. You'll find the one more suited to you this way. Good Luck!

Add a picture or two wherein you are smiling. You don't look friendly. A happy face will attract a happy face.  Wow! Your first two paragraphs contain waaay too much personal information! It's drama and seems needy!  Keep it light and whimsical! I would focus more on your goals, travel plans or education rather than your relationship history. If you wear that story on your sleeve from the gate, you will scare the good ones away. Ease into the history and leave the baggage on the curb .... The girls that will be attracted to that info right off probably thrive on drama or are enablers. Why the detail on your schedule? Exact times? With traffic you get home at what time? That is totally not necessary! Hmmm, not with a ten-foot pole.  Express energy and light; be positive and I wish you the best!

Long time no spin wax! How are you, mate? Doll, you are a great guy and seem like a catch. The profile is very nice and tight, lotsa info! Yeah, a lil less history, save that for when you are close to some one. Never great bait and it is the world wide web, lots of folks in your biz ... Sweets, you just haven't spoken to the right lady yet, call it divine protection perhaps. Needle in the haystack? NOTHING wrong w/ being soft spoken and gentle, sounds beautiful. as a guy who works for engineers. *what they dream up i have to build* I read your profile and say wow I know where your coming from. as a guy who was in a relationship and was left the thought is .... how to i show that it happend but im not the forgetfull cheating, wife beating, ignore the childeren for my own fun comes first type of guy? perhaps we just were truely not compadable... it happens. so we share to much in an effort to forgo some judgement that the words divorced or seperated can bring up.
and talkig about drive time and stuff... lol i know why you put it. but yeah there right. TMI. lots of other things to put like what qualitys you want out of your ideal partner. or a list of values you hold dear. umm a short list ... like 9. anyway. partner I feal your pain. take it easy and your on the right track... your being yourself what more can be wanted or expected. |
