LAPD riot police showed up at a Imigration rally and were caught on tape
using excessive force against women, children and the media. Several
media personal were hurt as well as a 10 year old boy who was beaten
with a nightstick, and all of it was caught on tape. Check out

for more details.
I just want it know that I am outraged and I hope the officers involved
get the pink slip.

The officers involved were suspended pending investigation.

Stop and consider something before you casterate those officers.

The rioters planned the riot. They had video cameras and media in place
before it started.

The police responded to a non-liscensed violent assemblage. They were
pelted with rocks, bottles and other hand thrown missles.

They moved in to quell the disturbance as riot police are trained to do.
They may have used excessive force but then again the cameras never
seemed to be pointing at anyone but the police. So the testimony of the
cameras is suspect since they were allready present. (smacks of a
setup)

So far as I know, It was a peaceful demonstration. Media reports even
support this.

violated.

Funny the officers get pelted with rocks and bottles, react to a
situation and are being suspended? Once again the LAPD is on trial for
reacting.

The reporters were there and not in thier safe zone and complain? If
there was no designated safe zone then I think I would be asking where
it is. Especially after what occurred in Montebello, the LAPD allowed an
Illegal assembly there, and when they do something to Protect themselves
from RIOTERS you want them Canned?

Sounds to me like someone wants all the cake to themselves.

Once again life goes on, and the LAPD gets screwed again. Seems to be
another day at the $hithole again.

I am just dumbfounded at what is going on these days.

It looks to me from several videos that they were both english and
spanish. The rock, bottle, whatever throwing occurred after the police
showed up from the angles I saw.

Of course it did. Did you expect them to throw bottles at each other.

The thing is did the rocks n bottles come before the police started
using riot control techniques or after.

See just because their was a camera there doesn't mean that camera
recorded all the action. A camera lies depending on who is pointing it
and where it is pointed.

I doubt if the media was there to record people rioting. As quickly as
the accusations followed the incident I suspect they were their to film
police in action being 'brutal' which makes for better advertisement
incentive. (News that sells).

Adven, you are probably right. Having lived in that $hithole most of my
life I have seen a lot of things that should have been news yet wasn't,
and I have seen certain things called Riots by the media that was 2 or 3
people fighting.

I recall an incident on Van Nuys Blvd on cruise night, it was two cars,
one had some stoners in it and the other had some mexicans in it. They
had some words went around the corner and the 2 groups had a brawl. When
it was over they packed into thier cars and left. 5 mins later the cops
close down the Blvd claiming there was a riot going on. That was the
beginning of the end for Cruising Van Nuys Blvd. Less than 2 months
later it was done. No more crusing period.

The papers the next day said several people were injured and a riot
occurred at the intersection we were sitting at. Sorry it never
happened, no riot, and the ones involved were never found.

Sensationalism at its best. So don't be surprised if you never hear
about this incident again, then again it could be another Rodney King.
Thats one I'll never understand.

Considering all the lies, propaganda and skewed polls I have seen thrown
around, I wouldn't be surprised if these illegal protesters staged the
entire thing. Nope, unless it was a wide angle shot, and the tape was
rolling from the beginning so that the whole progression of events could
be seen, I would just site the illegals and boot them back across the
border. People who don't want to get into a mess like a riot, should
have enough sense not to. I would know better than to go out protesting
to allow criminals to keep committing crimes. Really sounds stupid to
me that they even try it in the first place.

Press or not. When an officer tells you to leave, might be a good idea.
If you choose not to, take your lumps.
