I know I wouldn’t forget that walk

I don’t mean to be presumptuous
But I am sure we’ve met
I am sure I have touched your hand before
I know I wouldn’t forget your presence

Please forgive me for infringing on your time
But I’ve just remembered where we met
We’ve met in the night on several occasions
Only for you to become a hazy memory on awaking

Yes, we have met before
Allow me introduce myself
I am she, for whom you have searched
Look into my eyes, do you recognize me now

I have seen your face, tasted your lips
Held you in my arms and looked into your eyes
You have refreshed me when I was weary
