The Detroit Lions have had a slight logo makeover. The letters are now slightly italicized, and the lion now has visible teeth. I think it may be an entirely new drawing, too, I'm not sure.

One of the best games I ever watched as a child is when the Detriot Lions were down by 3 points against the Bears who just made a 3 point field goal.
There was 15 seconds left on the clock 4th quarter and they kicked it off. The Detriot Lion receiver ran 99 yards for the touchdown. What made it so fun is that I betted my entire allowance savings that the Detriot Lions will win! They all called me crazy with 15 seconds left on the clock. and man was their adrenaline when I won. It was a great experience where luck was truly on my side that day

It's a known fact that I have green and gold flowing through my veins, but I've never had a problem with the Lions. They play tough, they play their friggin' hearts out, but they've just had bad luck follow them for years. It certainly isn't for lack of trying to win games. Personally, I'd MUCH rather seem them in second place in the division (behind the Pack, of course!
 ) than friggin' Chicago or Minnesota.

The Lions need some serious help. I do not think they should take Matthew Stafford in this weekend's draft because with no O-line in front of him, he'll be slaughtered. Go Bears! |

Are they hoping that helps their game? (I can say that..I'm from MI) lol it might denver changed uniforms and went to the super bowl the next 2 years tampa changed theirs and finally got in the patriots changed from the red white and blue and found some balls so, there is a precedent... |
