I deactivated my account long ago. Today I typed in my user name in google, and up pops my old mingle 2 profile that is deactivated.
Remove my account and and profile from all public files and any place it shows up on google. |

The posters above are correct, kmoconnor13. If you deactivate your profile, nobody will be able to view any of your information. Then, given a little time, search engines like Google will drop any links to your account.

Or are we available across the entire world wide web? I was testing this, and if I googled my screen name, the system did require me to sign in before I could see my profile. So, I believe that the content is "exclusive" to mingle2. |

The bottom line is, if you participate in/on any online public forum, then it becomes a matter of public record. This is true of "any" forum board. This is why you will see the "release of liability" disclaimer on any respectable site's terms of use/service. As far as someone accessing deactivated profiles, then the links from google will lead only to a page which states.."this user has deactivated" |
