I think it has more to do with you constantly pointing out what's wrong with people, or talking about stupid people, or what's wrong with new people such as in this post. Most people here seem to get along fine.

I bought my desk from there as well and found Mark's mom a dog on there hey it's not a bad site if your looking to find those sort of things.

The year thing just means people are going to stay. If they were on another site, how are others supposed to know that? Osmosis? And for me, it took a good year until I felt I knew people well enough and they me. I said it was MY OPINION.

It happens from time to time. Although it is generally only a few people posting a lot of the "personal ad" type threads as opposed to a lot of people posting one or two.

I do see a commonality in most of your threads where it is negative, Prisoner. You slam people a lot.

Hummmmmmm could be true on any site as long as I have been here I've never chosen to only talk to a certain group of people and don't care too.

Myself I enjoy going from thread to thread and talking to many different types of people instead of just staying in one thread.

Like I said the new ones seem like a breath of fresh air with their new ways of thinking.

Birds of a feather... There ARE cliques on this site. I noticed it from day one of my forays into the forums. No need to take offense to the statement. it is the way of the world and will not change.

The other thing that is the same everywhere is that some people do not like others. I will get the occasional e-mail asking me, "don't you think so and so is this or that?" I see certain members taking offense and every opportunity to bad mouth another member simply because they do not like him or her.

I do not say this idly since I observe many interactions out here. It seems some of us just look for an excuse to hand others their head whatever valid point the object of our contempt has.

If a person or two people find that a person has a common thread style, then don't post in the thread....issue solved. NO ONE makes a person post in a thread, some just can't help thenselves.

Actually you're right prisoner those type of threads are not appropriate. And if they are reported those type of threads are not being moderated closely we are actually deleting those type of threads with warnings sent out.

Those type of threads are no longer allowed. But......it all comes back to we rely on the members to report those type of threads so we can delete them. So if members do not report them they get left on the site for we do not always see them.

Recently someone disliked a member so much that they actually wondered whether or not I was an alter ego for the member since I agreed with her/him on a hotly debated point.

That is some silly sh!t folks.

I will have to admit that it does amaze me how those three little words.....
