the "mutual match" on mingle and there is no one new?

For example. Since I try to stay close to my location, I searched in a 50 miles radius and it gave back the same people like a few months ago, no new faces. The ones I liked wrote a mail for them, this would be about 15 people who are in my vicinity, I got 2 responses back, neither of them any encouraging but more like a "thanks, I wish you luck" and "ok, bye" and that's it.

So basically, there is nobody to mail or to consider locally (within 50 miles) and I don't really want to have a long distance relationship.

So now I'm down to a few options.

1. Exclude Mingle as a place to find someone and just talk on it
2 Get out of this area
3. Wait for a miracle and hope whoever signs up in the near future "might" like me?

Been there and done that myself(actually 10,000 miles!) and never again! Im currently a few hundred miles away from pink_lady and thats managable for us for now.

But you can drive a hundred miles in a couple of hours, easily.

I guess it all depends how much you wanna meet somebody.

Yeah, 100 miles isn't that far, really.

Well, it's damned if I don't, damned if I do..I did talk to someone for a while , she lives about 200 miles away , but then it's her who doesn't want the relationship...so I've been there too.

LOL....Think that's freaky or funny? laugh I took myself out to a restaurant and went to see a movie afterward...then I held my own hand, went home took a shower and slept in my bed. bigsmile

If you're limiting yourself to 50 miles and coming up with nothing, you can either stay frustrated, or not worry so much about the miles. If you don't really care to meet anyone, then stay within those 50 miles, I guess.
