 Respect the right of the American people to elect their lawful and constitutionally elected leaders.

If we had the right I would. Truth is that the majority of votes cast in favor of putting Obama in office were votes against that wacko McCain and not because they liked Obama. Simple fact is most modern presidents were elected on the basis that they were simply not as bad as the other guy.

That's somewhat true, but whom to blame for having such lame people running for office? To tell you the truth...I couldn't pick anyone from the GOP running candidates, and the only good choice would have been Ron Paul...while from the democrats I would picked D.Kucinich as somewhat of a good choice, but not entirely in support.

Anyway, the biggest problem I see is biased news from both left and right and the people being polarized either left or right too much. The other problem is education and misinformation and lack of knowledge and understanding fully the issues. Most people like to have the research done by others for them instead of having them to look into the problems and try to understand it themselves, they blindly trust others who will take advantage of them.

It is also important, not to get polarized ever in one direction and see things from one point of view, but no matter how much we are biased, try to see things from the opponent's perspective as well, because we will run into the problem of unable to distinguish good from bad in no time.

The biggest part of the problem I see is that there is absolutely zero requirement for integrity and honesty within campaign adds. And people just blindly believe the non-sense they spout, because it's what they want to hear.

If candidates were required to prove what they say then we'd know a lot more about what they were actually going to do. The way things are with all the BS in the ads and people believing it, no candidate can run an honest campaign and have even a snow balls chance in hell of getting elected. In essence they are required to lie in order to get into office the way things are set up. Gee I wonder why things are so f**ked up sick

yeah, definetely about the campaign rhetoric. Say anything the public would want to hear, and you have no obligation whatsoever to fulfill those words. And the public acts like a goldfish with a 20 second memory.
I also hate the fact, how it takes many millions of dollars and bank sponsors just to make a dent on the surface to be at least known to be running.
Eventually the person with the most money wins and the most money will go to those who are the biggest b.tches for the big banks. Obama's "grass root support" another game, his biggest contributor was Goldman Sachs...While McCain was backed by other banks and companies.

Basically, to run for president, you have to have the back of a large bank and corporations. There is no other way. You could be completely opposite of what the people want, just lie around as much as you want, it's only "campaign slogan", essentially the elected will follow what the corporations and banks wants him to do, since he sold his soul to them.

The entire thing is corrupt and completely undemocratic and unfair, if you ask me.

Washington was a opportunist by marriage seeking status. Later becoming a true leader of people. He truly cared, and fought with his men for the cause of freedom. By today's standard he would be considered a terrorist.slaphead

The Patriot Act is a killer of the Constitution. (We have no rights, or freedoms) Simply sheep waiting to be slaughtered by the New World Order.devil

I cry Freedom...... drinker smokin
