in the long run...i think the beatles had of course amazing vocals and
harmanies...but on a Saturday afternoon driving down the road which of
the two band really kicked butt and makes ya wanna go crazy if only for
a minute??

Actually, I think the Stones and the Beatles sucked..

I am spoiled, though, I have been raised on "Real Music" !

all i know is the Beatles sang i wanna hold your hand..the stones sang
lets spend the night together...was an easy choice for a teenage boy
growing up in the seventies!!!

Taylor..The Beatles did two songs that got my attention..

1. Hey Jude
2. Let It Be..

The Stones did not!!

My opinion, only, you are entitled to yours..But, I spent 30+ years in
the industry!!

Look at how many of The Beatles songs have been covered by other artists
compared to The Stones.......


I rest my case.

I have to give the Beatles props for what they accomplished, but
personally I think they both should go away, just sick of hearing them
both and alot of other "classic" rock.DOn't get me wrong I love music,
but come on how many times can you hear the same frigging songs, over
and over again.Not that alot of "new" music is that great but, I'm
talking the same sh*t,again and again.

I get people all the time asking if we play stones or Skynyrd, I tell
sorry go see the other 100 bands around here.We don't have any problem
getting the ladies to shake their asses.Any band that plays Give me 3
steps, jumping Jack Flash etc etc are just damn lazy, take some time and
learn different songs from the same bands.One of the things we hear alot
from people is wow I haven't heard that song in so long, etc etc.I mean
hey any band that goes out and plays and has fun , my hats off to them,
but why bow down to the common denominator,

my band play-es time waits for no one and tumblin dice..as well as
sympathy for the devil...um i think just gimme shelter alone was a
better song then anything "new"

i hate when some requests skynard we do it..but being from philly i
caint relate to the swamp thing

I think they are both pretty effin awsome! I LOVE Skynard too!

I have always been a huge Beatles fan. :)
