Please share your experience with the rest of us.

I've lived in Poland and Bulgaria. I worked in Poland as a teacher and film actor. In Bulgaria, I lived near Varna for a summer and was a teacher there. Looking forward to going back eventually. Prior to 2004 when I moved to Poland, I had bounced back and forth between there and the US from 1998.

I was in the military a couple times too, but ironically was stateside during my entire time in service, and while in the Navy I never saw a ship. Fun times :D

I lived in Panama for the better part of four-and-a-half months. It was a pretty cool experience, too- went to a lot of places that the touristas don't usually get to go to. Even did a lot of time out in the jungles and stuff.

I also lived in South Korea for around four months as well back in 2000. Went all over the place, from Seoul to Inchon to several other towns and stuff. It's a cool place to go to.

JTEvans: An yong ha say yo? I know a little Korean :)

Gracy: I'd be happy to be your friend. What did you do in the Phillipines?

YellowRose: Did you travel a lot when your dad was in the AF?

Moofooga: I'm a total wimp when it comes to anything jungle. I stay away from those type of areas, I'd rather live in the Desert. :P

The jungles weren't actually that bad. Most of the "jungle" areas I trudged through used to be a part of a military base that trained special forces troops during the Vietnam Conflict back in the sixties. In fact, a lot of the ammo dumps and magazines are still there and stuff.

If anything, some of the local neighborhoods were quite what you'd probably call "scary", including this one area known as "green valley". There were a lot of thug types there, mostly gang bangers deported from the U.S. and stuff.

Moved to Mazatlan MX from Florida, and I am right on the Pacific. The sunsets are just awesome, the people are friendly and I love the culture (and the margaritas) I have been here for a year now, visiting back in FL now and then... Rent is cheap, food is good and I didn't catch the swine flu, because I did not wake up with any pigs.....

Gypsy: What part of Cali did you live in? I'm thinking of going on a roadtrip to LA to see my older bro and take a four week film acting class to get back into the swing of things.

Iamw8ing: I'd love to live anywhere warm and next to the sea. It seems the best sunrise and sunsets are on the coastal areas.

Lots of travel. I lived in Korea for a year and a half while working as a broadcast journalist for the Army.

That's one of the cool jobs the Army doesn't tell you about :P If I had known about that when I served in the Army (prior to my Navy/Marine service) I'd probably have gone for that rather than medical.

Haven't been out of the US but did travel and move a fair amount here.

Want to visit Scotland, the Isle of Man, and Australia eventually. A friend has been wanting me to move to Scotland, but that would be 10 yes at the earliest and only if I don't get another dog that's banned over there.

I could feasibly pick up a dual citizenship for Scotland or the Isle of Man.

I lived in Indonesia when I was 17 for about 9 months. My step father was teaching helicopter mechanics to the Indonesian army. I went to the joint embassy high school in Djakarta while I was there. 'twas a pretty cool experience.
