Figured I'd post this here in the travel section as well. A couple of us are trying to put together a group cruise sometime in 2010. If you follow this link:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/minglecruise2010/ You can participate in the planning process (if you want) or just be kept in the loop about plans so you can decide later if you want to join in. The more people we get, the better rates and perks we can get. While nothing has been set in stone, price is a deciding factor for all of us, so we are going to do this as cheaply as we possibly can. So, if you are in any way interested, sign up at the yahoo group to keep yourself in the know. Unfortunately, there are too many people to e-mail each person individually and there's no easy way on Mingle to e-mail a large group, so please do not ask me to "keep you posted," I can't do that and that's why I set up the yahoo group page. We'll be posting details as they emerge as well. |

Too bad Tanya! I know! But I will be in a transition from my master's program and into my doctoral program without a break in between! I will probably need a vactions, but won't have the time!

Unfortunately, there are too many people to e-mail each person individually and there's no easy way on Mingle to e-mail a large group, so please do not ask me to "keep you posted," I can't do that and that's why I set up the yahoo group page i'm not interested in being part of the planning, or even voting for departure dates, length of cruise, etc. however, would you be willing to at least post the itinerary here, once it's been decided? it'd definitely be something in which robin and i would be interested. |

Oh, I'll definitely be doing that. I'll post everything, including price. Then, if people are interested, they can still sign up at the yahoo group page to get the travel agent information and participate (or not) as they want to. We'll also post information on any group activities, on-board parties, etc on there. Again, this is for anyone interested, the level of your actual participation in anything is strictly up to you. The only thing we do ask if you do sign up with the group is to post an introduction so we know who we're talking to. But even that's not a requirement. I hope you join us, I think it'll be a lot of fun

I think its an AWESOME idea thanks for looking into this ... I have always to " cruise " once, and having already met some peeps from here already , and having a blast doing it FYI, I agree totally with, post itinerary here then letting us decide accordingly ...

You are awesome for taking on this endeavour... thanks Eh, it gives me something to obsess over  Gotta channel that OCD in a positive way, right  j/k but I do love cruising and this was all SnugglesbyFire's idea, I'm just pretty good at putting stuff like together so I'm kind of taking the lead. Hopefully, it'll pan out

Hey guys, sorry to do this. Tootsweet pointed me to a site that I think will be far more manageable and less confusing. I've started a new group there which we will use instead of the old yahoo site. You will need to re-sign up at the new site! You'll need to create an account there in order to become a member of the group and post. It's free!

Morning! I just approved you and you can go in and read what little's there so far and post and ask questions and whatever you like.
