I am sorry for your experience but why would you want to be in a place like that? Doesn't even sound fun to me. Closeing down a bar is never a good idea. I would definitely be worried that I had been expossed to an **** STD and follow up with medical attention. Probably too late to file assault charges but I would check into a cival suit against the bar if you have any injuries.

As far as the drunken neighbor you do not have to put up with that garbage either. You can have him arrested for a variety of charges and if nothing else tresspassing and violation of a court restraining order if you will file one. I wouldn't recommend making yourself vunerable to these creeps. Even and elderly man can assault you and seriously hurt you. At least report him to Adult Protective Services as a threat to self. It is possible he could be court ordered into supervision. Alcoholism tends to advance Alzheimers and it is a myth that they are "harmless drunks."

I would have asked for his name, phone number and address.....like you were gonna meet up with him later. Then I would have driven straight to the police station and filed a battery report on his sick a$$.

 So last night I go out with some friends to a couple bars... as they are getting to last call some random guy walks up to me and says "I wanna make out with u " and proceeds to stick his tongue in my mouth... which almost got bit off by the way.  as I am pushing him off of me he says " you know, if you can **** good D!ck, you and I can be good friends.  I told him as much I would love to be his drunk last resort lay for the night... I'm gonna have to pass. I said a few other choice words to him that I can't say here rant , patted him on the shoulder, smiled, and walked out.

I agree. I asked a girl to dance and I got severe hostility. Just because some a$$hole tried something on her before me.

OK... first of all it was not "that kind of place" and I resent the implication in your post that somehow I deserved what I got because I was in a bar.
I wasn't out by myself. I wasn't in a "seedy or shady place" Just because there could be or will be one drunk jerk in the bunch doesn't mean I should have to stay home and not go out with friends.
We went out for a special occasion.

Unfortunately, you're always going to have a chance of running into men like the one she described anywhere. Going to a "better bar" isn't going to change that.

Only bar I go to is a pub in my neighborhood. My cousins own it and work there. I am safe. When I do the clubs I use the buddy system. No one is ever alone, unless they ask to be. Safety in numbers. Taught this to my daughters as well. flowerforyou They are 26 and 28.

I'm sorry I was drunk and could not resist your beautiful smile... j/k of course. The guy was a jerk and booze can't excuse that sort cr@p. It's a sad fact that some people just can behave in a decent manner. It was some time ago but I once I had sung a song (karaoke) when this drunk woman walked up on stage and tried to use some tongue on me. Took two of my friends to grab my wife and keep her from decking her.

I have to go with Jill on this one. I used to work at Chlili's years ago. Pretty much a family environment, but there was liquer there, and where their is liquer there is a dumb a$$. It is usually not the place, it is the people. Things like that happen so quick it is hard for friends to react to. Don't let anyone blame you, Jill, That was out of your control.
