In most States you need a permit, though, and in ALL States there are licensing and tax obligations to meet before you can sell your crop.

I have an honest to goodness serious question. Do u have to be licensed in order to grow ur own tobacco? Are there any kind of regulations that make it illegal for a regualr person such as myself to actually grow tobacco in my garden? I'm curiousshades

It would seem to be legal. I found this site that offers a good bit of info on doing so. http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/AA260

I'm curious also if anyone knows what are health risk of home grown and smoked tobacco vs what is commonly found in cigarette. We hear about all the poison in cigarette smoke. I'm curious if most of those are natural to smoked tobacco itself or from the additives in the manufacturing process.
i dont know if this is true or not but i have heard that tobacco companies take out the nicatine then put back like triple the amount with other stuff to make it realy addicting

If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.

As I understand from what read a little earlier, the regulations for growing it for personal use have been removed. Still regulated for sales though.

Go ahead and try and grow it. Personal use is regulated as well. They (ATF) sill want to know how much you grew, where it went and on and on. If it were easy, we would all be doing it....jmo
