I met a guy over a year ago, I fell instantly in love with this guy but
he didn't feel the same way. I can not get over him....it has been over
a year. What do I do ? How ever do I get over this guy ?

uhm.... you find a new one... realize you are better than he is.. why
would you want him when he has turned you down.. obviously he's not
worth it

im sorry to hear, simply..i went thru the same thing a few months
ago..takes time and i know it sucks, but thats life
..but, it will get better..you will meet someone else..

You proberbly will never let him go i'm in your shoes, what you gotta do
is find something to get your mind off of him, it will hurt for a while
im going on my 8 month,it is hard! maybe he will realize the love of his
life was right in front of him the whole time, by than it will be to

If he doesn't appreciate you, that's his loss. Why waste your time on
someone who can't even see that you're more than well worth his while?

I think a lot of times it's hard to get over someone because we blind
ourselves to their negatives. We build them up so high (i.e., so far
above our own perceptions of ourselves) in our own minds that it becomes
almost "blasphemous" to look at them as real people, with real flaws and
faults.

And that's just not realistic. People DO have flaws and faults, and a
big part of loving someone is accepting their flaws and faults.

But in a case of trying to get over, beyond, and past someone, I think
one thing we need to understand is that one of their flaws is that they
can't always see the goodness and the potential in another perosn....

And you can spend years, decades, banging your head into a wall over
that one.

Or you can say, "Hey, this isn't doing me any good -- there are 6
billion people in the world, odds are that at least one would be willing
to treat me the way I deserve" --
