using alltel cell for internet unlimited 60$ a month verizon and sprint have it as well but 5 gig limit b4 then additional charges apply video adds up fast just a thought When I first bought a house here they had dsl, but only kept it two months, I called the local phone co and told them I refuse to pay 60 bucks a month for glorified dialup, it was pathetic. If I wanted slow I could pay much less for it, so I did, I got peoplepc.. sucks but right now I have no need for dsl, I am not doing any online work right now so no need for the extra expense, though I do miss miss miss the speed I had with verizon in florida before I moved. Some one mentioned that verizon might have a deal here now, so I am going to look into it, but the locals are still charging 60 bucks and I refuse to pay more than 30 which is what I payed monthly before. yep i understand that i use cell service cause i travel so much if your cell phone is computer compatible you may be able to use it (if you have unlimited minutes) but gotta go  No, don't use cell at all, really have no need for it here but thanks for the info anyway. |

 ... I'm hoping 'she' (Palin) would/will stay home and just raise her family, be a mom and grandma!  I forgot to mention 'wife'...not that I believe that 'women' can't multi-task...by all means 'we can' BUT I isn't that supposed to be #1 priority? Beside...she's not my cup of tea! ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The former fiance of Gov. Sarah Palin's 18-year-old daughter says he thinks he knows why the Alaska governor is resigning — concerns over money. Levi Johnston, 19, whose wedding to Bristol Palin was called off earlier this year, says he believes the governor is resigning over personal finances. Johnston says he lived with the Palin family from early December to the second week in January. He claims he heard the governor several times say how nice it would be to take advantage of the lucrative deals that were being offered, including a reality show and a book. "I think the big deal was the book. That was millions of dollars," said Johnston, who has had a strained relationship with the family but now says things have improved. Palin has a book deal, but compensation details haven't been disclosed. The governor has said she is facing more than $500,000 in legal fees. "It is interesting to learn Levi is working on a piece of fiction while honing his acting skills," Palin family spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton said in an e-mail to The Associated Press. Johnston made his comments at a news conference Thursday at the office of his attorney, Rex Butler. Johnston came forward, Butler said, because Alaskans want to know why Palin has decided to resign. She made the announcement last Friday. Johnston also is pursuing his own book deal. He is working as a carpenter while also pursuing a movie deal. |

It's all a soap opera now, you would think it would turn people off, but wait soap opera's are popuplar as well as reality shows, so even if only her supporters read her book she would get millions. And she knows it. The longer she spent as governor it just delayed pay day for her.
Can't say I blame her for that, even if she brought all this on herself by her actions in an out of office, she really doesn't have much choice if she wants to pay those debts off. |
