why should anyone give a reason anyway when the other side can't accept and move on. it's not like she is raising taxes that effects all of us...she quit her job...someone else is stepping in And that's your opinion of it and I back your right to have it. No on her said they can't accept it, hell I don't trust that she would tell the absolute truth anyway, but some of us believe that if you are living off the taxpayer via the governors position, you do absolutly owe an explanation. |

I like you doubt they would speak the truth, so I'd much rather just hear that they are quitting and not care what their reasons nor excuses were, as I question their truthfulness. i see that winx...what 9 pages of assuming? she gave her reason and it's still not good enough. she doesn't owe anyone any more. she's gone...someone else took her place Rose, Other things have been discussed too. This is all on the news too. Are you saying that you want this thread to end? after 9 pages of the same thing...hasn't it been all said???? just as you want to discuss other theories...I will keep saying that she is gone and someone new is in her place....she's gone. I agree. I'm not a fan of her's by any means...but she gave her reasons and doesn't owe any more reasons IMO Ok Rose I am going to start counting how many times you repeat that, as if we didn't catch it the first time.  If your not that fond of her why not let the others express their opinion and accept it as their opinion as you do opinions on Obamas administration?

she has reasons...but she doesn't owe anyone an explanation..... Ah excuse me, if you are a public official and you quit, you do own and explanation. What if she was president and decided to leave before her term, think people wouldn't want to know why? and as I also said...she gave a reason but it's still not good enough. she doesn't owe me and explanation and many people I know could care less why she is gone...we just know she is gone I believe she gave a few reasons, none of which really sounded right, but your right, it's not good enough, though yes I am happy and hell that she is going to give the people of alaska a huge break. And yupper we know she is gone, but other's still want to express their views. Should be ok, right?

and yes Fran...I have noticed that she is only responding to my posts. who knows. I don't care why she resigned...she owes me nothing. she's gone...good riddance...maybe the next person will do better and I actually left the thread after I had my say until I was brought back in

What if she was president and decided to leave before her term, think people wouldn't want to know why? A public official is an employee (like most of us, but w/better pay and benes). Their reasons/excuses/explanations for resigning/quitting can range from I quit, I don't want to do this anymore, to a whole slew of other reasons... Now as for the people demanding and thinking they are due an explanation - good luck with that one - I can't get the govt much less a govt employee to answer me with a straight answer imagine those quitting their positions I do believe she does own an explanation, but I sure don't expect it anymore than I expect it to be the truth, coming from Palin. Bu I agree with the 'good luck in getting it'.. |
