Pantyhose can be used to remove fiberglass slivers and cactus needles.
Pour talcum/babypowder/foot powder or flour into the foot of one ant tie it off...dab that on any area befor masking for painting and it turns cheap masking tape into low-tack tape that pro painters pay $4 a roll for. Make a "sugar titty"...(I swear I had these as a kid...it is a Polish thing) Pour sugar into the foot of old pantyhose and tie it off...dip it into boiling water for a split second and allow to cool...it will crystalize...give it to the infant to slowly suck the sugar out. I am not kidding. |

CLOTHES SAVER Cut the leg off a pair of hose and fill with cedar chips or moth balls. Secure the end and hang in the closet to keep moths a bay.
DRAWER SACHETS Cut out the feet of a pair of white pantyhose and fill them with scented potpourri. Secure the end with a rubber band and decorate with pretty ribbon. |
