The body dies.

The spirit/soul is a living thing and can not die. It returns to the
one who breathed it into us.

Christ defeated the concept of hell. Any one that has died since his
generation goes to heaven none are condemed. No matter their path no
matter their inequity.

However as you have sowed upon this earthly life so shall god give unto
you to reap in your heaven. Therefore salvation is yours but you must
still strive to keep the laws.

True the body does die. The soul/breath of life goes back to yahweh the
spirit. Yet thier is no consciousness in the grave or anywhere else for
the dead. When yahshua comes back the breath of life will return to
those who are his in the grave. As he has the very hairs of your head
numbered. So bringing you back like you were is no problem. But those
ones will be spirit being uncorruptable. The man and the woman in
messiah will come back together as a literal one again. Not 2 bodies
becoming 1 but 1 spiritual body. As the femine aspect of angels is non
existant. And we will be Elohims Judges. We will rule and judge with
Yahshua. So no when you are dead you are dead. it is like sleep you have
know knowledge of time. Yahweh is not a respector of persons. this is
why he could say to the thief "today you will be with me in paradise"
because the next waking moment he knows is the ressurrection. Shalom.

That is an interesting concept.

Seek to enjoy your time in the things of the past and the teachings of
the son and die the once and live again or become one in the glory as
promised me by the Father in whom I have faith and trust.

Salvation has come to all mankind. What they do with it is the choice
each to their own choice the path of the son or the seat of the father.

Would that he could.

Sad to see that his name has been used so vile by the whores of the
merchant.

The day given him by man has become a feast of filth and greed and a
mockery of his word.

The day declared unto all of us by the churches that steal his name has
become a glittering harvest of greed and licenteousness, excess and
coveting, even unto worshipping of false idols. They have in their
usurping of his authority taught the faithfull falsely to bring idols
into their very homes and worship therin the things forbidden by the
prophets of old.

It was physically impossible for anyone to survive a cruxificion. The
Turkish designed it and the Romans perfected it. The weight of the body
pulling down on the shoulders meant that they were separated and caused
the lungs to collapse. A mere man would die of exhaustion from that
collapse and not to mention the lack of oxygen. The mortal wounds of
those nails were compared to someone slicing their wrists open. He hung
on the cross for 3 hours. The thorn that went through his head was over
2 inches long and was also a mortal wound. A spear pearcing through the
rib cage? Some wound to survive. wow. And of course it is dated that
there was a huge thunder storm on that day. How can there be a blood
trail if everything is being washed away. Christ died on that cross,
was laid in a tomb, and on the 3rd day rose from the dead.

Tricess, point of information. The wounds from the nails are not mortal.
A nail can be driven through a wrist without damaging the major vessels.
Point proven in a small German town every 10 years. A male of the age of
33 volonteers every 10 years to be crucified. It's a promise made by the
town's residents during the time of the Black Death (Bubonic Plague)
that should the town be spared they would do this every 10 years. They,
and the surrounding area, were indeed spared the ravages of the Plague
and this 'thanks' has been done without interruption ever since. Might I
suggest a course in Anatomy and Physiology. Note also that there was was
a small block under ther feet so that the process of crucifiction would
take longer. Fatigue would indeed eventually win out leading to
constriction of the lungs.

Oh I forgot the thorn. A thorn would not pierce the cranium. There would
be bleeding but again not a mortal wound. Is a bullet in the head by
necessity a mortal wound, No! A man in New York survived a bullet in the
head. The bullet pierced the cranium and became lodged betwwen the
layers of tissue which surround the brain. He spent a week with a
migraine before it was diagnosed that he had a bullet in the head.

I didn't read all the other replies but I once heard from someone that
after Jesus died he descended into hell to save the souls of good people
like Adam and Eve before reserrecting. I know that there different
interperations of bible teachings so don't all attack me!

1 Peter 4:1-6

Therefore, since Messiah suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves
also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased
from sin, 2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the
flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of Yahweh. 3 For we have
spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles —
when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking
parties, and abominable idolatries. 4 In regard to these, they think it
strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation,
speaking evil of you. 5 They will give an account to Him who is ready
to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this reason the gospel was
preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according
to men in the flesh, but live according to Elohim in the spirit.
NKJV
In this scripture which has been said to say Yahshua preached to the
dead. We must remember that the same Yahshua came in Yahweh's name as
Yahweh in the Old Testament.

John 1:1-5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with YHWH, and the Word
was YHWH. 2 He was in the beginning with YHWH. 3 All things were made
through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him
was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in
the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
NKJV
You see Yahshua created the earth through his fathers commands. He gave
the law and oracles as he was commanded. The people kneww him as Yahweh
because he was yet to give up his heavenly estate and be born a child.
Now back to the preaching of the dead.
1 Peter 4:6
For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that
they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according
to Yahweh in the spirit.
NKJV
Yahshua did preach to t6he dead as he is speaking of. But not as we
think. This passage is refering to him preaching/giving the laws through
Moshe to them that they may be judged according to thier works. As seen
in the 2nd ressurrection when the books are opened.
Rev 20:12-15
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before Yahweh, and books
were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And
the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were
written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and
Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were
judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were
cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone
not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
NKJV
Yahshua did not descend into hell. Thier is no such place. Hell is no
more than the grave. dante and egyptian folk lore speak of a underworld
not the Holy Scriptures. Yahshua was speaking of the mercy that would be
bestowed on all those who died and are in the grave before he came. They
will be judged by thier works. So rest assured Yahweh is Holy and Just
and true. Miles

Ely what you quoted from Revelations 20 was the second death. The final
resurection. It occures after all the trumpets and the horsemen etc...

In the End Times not during his crucifixion.

According to the Mormons, Jesus came to America and taught "Moroni?"
everything he taught the apostles. Supposedly he traveled to many
places in the world, to do this. But somehow, the timeframe is all
wrong for this to have happened. Of course this might actually be how
we got the theory of Santa Clause. Imagine all the he delivers in a
single night. Maybe it was like that with Jesus, minus the reindeer of
course.
