I'll totally accept that. I'm not one to pry into personal issues, at all.

Well..part of my reasoning is because of stuff that I have told you in emails. :-)

Here's a question -- ya ever notice the big ape guys have the tiny skinny women as wives in TV shows? Why IS that anyway?

Because it's funny. At least...Hollywood thinks it's funny. Think about it. In almost every one of those shows, at one point or another, the guy winds up asking himself, or even asking HER, why it is that a slob like him wound up with the most beautiful woman. It goes back to the whole fairy tale thing. Those shows are just modern day fairy tales.

And yeah, it's awesome to think sometimes.

People in general don't do enough of it these days.

Typically people are attracted to who they believe is the healthiest, fittest mate for them for making children.

Be it concious or not.

Thats what science says.

Unfortunately, all are not sane, and alot of our pickers are broken.

What if you're done making children?

Den U in trouble girl. laugh

Is the picker broken? Or is it aimed at the fairy tale and just needs a bit of windage adjustment.

All part of the broken picker.

Written by men, obviously. laugh Otherwise, the whole thing would totally be the other way around.

And yeah, it's awesome to think sometimes.

Agreed. And now that I've eaten, I can think again! Yay!

Den U in trouble girl.

Damnit. I KNEW I was doing something wrong! laugh

Wow!
What an Excellent Read ya'll.

Glad you like it.

It's nice to have a thread that makes a person think occasionally.

I've been Pondering whether to put my 2 cents in... and I think I will...

I had 2 dates this week. Both were Coffee, initially.

The first started off ok. We went to Dinner, which was ok. We sat for HOURS and Chain Smoked in the Rain, over yet more Coffee. That was ok as well. Almost 11 hours later, there was no Spark, and there was no Attraction on my behalf. There was Pretty Awesome Conversation, and I Very Much enjoyed myself... and I gladly went home alone, and fell in my Bed... Dreaming of Another Man.

The Second Date never even made it to coffee.
We sat, in the Shade of some trees, and talked, and talked, and talked. When he took his RayBans from his eyes... and I actually looked into them... I was like WHOAH! Ok, I will admit it... That is ALL I could think! *WHOAH*
The Date was short, and I was left wanting More immediately.

Isn't it Funny how these things happen like this?
First Guy... ehh.
Second Guy... WHOAH!

Coincidentally......................

I've heard from the First Guy a few times since, and have been pleasant in my Responses back to him.
I've heard Not A Peep from the Second Guy...
Now I ask you... After talking to me on the Phone, in nothing but a Friendly, and Helpful Manner for over 2 weeks... What was so Different about talking to me in Person that he cannot call me back?!? Leads one to wonder...

lol well snarky, you know how it goess.. menopause, usually people get older, loose their sexual appetite, people cant get it up anymore, alot of people (not all) arent as interested in sex...

They look often for companionship...

People may not be consiously looking as Ive said, but they do.

I think its awesome though when people are still doing the great sex life at an older age.

Instinct, and conditioning are also factors, as well as pleasureable experiences obviously.

The Second Guy... Ruff, and From California... Attractive to Listen to, and I have really enjoyed the conversations over the last weeks - I think my advise has really helped him out... So... Shaking my Head... Palms in the Air... Am I Missing Something here?!

Nope. Yer not missing anything at all. Guy two lives in California. Therefore, that makes him far less accessible.

That leads to wanting him more than the guy that IS accessible.

It's just part of what makes us humans.

Oh, I want sex... but I'm not going through menopause. I'm only thirty-two! laugh I just have five kids when I was married, and got my tubes tied.

I dunno... I don't think I agree that it's about procreating. If it was, I wouldn't be attracted to anyone now, but I am. So...?

So... Shaking my Head... Palms in the Air... Am I Missing Something here?!

Sounds like he had a difference experience than you did on your date. Sorry babe. frown Move on.

No, he lives here, In Atlanta... Not so far from me...
He's FROM California - and I Like the Northern / Mid-Western Attitude - which is much like my own!
(I'm Still not getting the Hang of Editing the "Quotes" like you savvy guys... I'm Jealous! *wink*)

And Somehow Snarky... I Knew you were going to tell me that!

Not necessarily accurate.

Just because your tubes are tied doesn't mean that the instinct to find the most suitable procreation partner is going to go away.
