In this day and age, people do all sorts of things.

I've heard of long distance relationships but I just met someone who
says they have an online boyfriend.

How does that work?

Has anyone ever done this?

If you were in an online relationship, would you move to be with that
person?

well i think typically . ... most of the time if you do dating sites you
find people from your area;however, with sites like this you come in
contact with people from all over the place and you find people you're
attracted to... thus i think it starts out just flirting, then to
sharign photos, talkin on messenger, talking on the phone, you get to
know each other until you're ready to meet and when finances jobs allow
that to occur, if the meet goes well then you can make a relationship
out of and then date " long distance" until it progresses and hopefully
one will decide to move to where the other lives,

some even start dating before they meet which is fine it is really just
about finding someone you're attracted to physically and mentally though
i guess

no, i would not relocate unless i knew the person or a while. i have
kids to consider and donot want to relocate them just because there
might be something there.

lol..and i normally would not do the online thing unless i really found
someone that tottaly hit home.. and the relocating thing is huge!!! so
i'd say we'd have to be " dating logn distance" for a while and i have
to know that theres definitly something im moving there for.. although..
i'd try to get him to move by me hahah

well that's a good point sorority but what about trust. Could you trust
someone you don't see on a regular basis lol?

you should respect them and

treat them like you would IRL...

to me the only difference is that you can't touch each other...
