Did you and your children play board games, cards ect....

What was your one special night spent with your entire family, once a week or month.????

My family would put a card table up in the corner, and because we were all on different hours..... Ages 16-17.... at the time.

[but you chose your own children ages]...... [and time period].

anyway, we would put up Monopoly, and for 2 or 3 weeks we would come into the house see who is next?, roll the dice! make are move! and then head off to finish homework, or get ready to go to work.. ect.

It was so much fun.. However.. "MOM" (me).. always Won.....DA! I WAS THE BREAD WINNER... I BOUGHT PROPERTY... Too bad i did not do this in real life i would of been rich... LOL haa haa...

I remember growing up in a poor neighborhood and my grandfather teaching me Othello. Easy to learn, the game can get more complicated than chess at times, depending on who you take on.

My family wasn't big on board games growing up but we learned card games at a very early age. Penny poker at holiday events was HUGE! My son, he's hit and miss, he liked them when he was younger and we'd play whenever the mood struck him. Now, not so much though every once in a while he'll want to play something.

Not a board game, I know... but my mom was in love with Skip-Bo.
We had hurricanes a lot and sometimes the power would be out for days. We played a ton of Skip-Bo and Uno.

We would go to our grandmothers house for Christmas. We would always play Aggravation. When my kids were little we played Scrabble, Aggravation, and Trivial Pursuit.

Skip-bo, Uno and Yahtzee. But also played a lot of Solitaire by myself. Holiday's our family would play the dice game.

My brother and I used to love battleship!!

My parents use to have friends come over every Saturday night for an UNO competition...boy did they hate it when us kids got to be better then they were

i played dominoes all the time growing up with my family...good memories...

the game we are currently playing at home with my youngest is chutes and ladders...

We still do serious marathon monopoly sessions.

when i was kid we played yahtzee, uno, and chess. now i play connect four, monster mash, and battle with my daughter. i cant wait till she's old enough to learn how to play chess.

my family still plays this today... I lose... on this one.. Assuming what Ya right.. I lose YOU sunk my Battle ship.. dang it..
