Who created that myth, that it's common?

And when did it become fashionable to call it the flu?

And to be elitist call it swine flu?


I'm catching a cold...I have the hit by a mack truck feeling, the achey breaky bones, the sore chest, and the sneezes...

I must have a kind of mild fever, as I am one minute piled under a gazillion blankets shivering, and the next minute sweating my arse off.

and it isn't common!

I refuse to give myself an elitist title and call it swine flu...who wants to be a pig?

When did we get so insane we had to have all these crazy different mindsets and names for some virus that kicks your arse for a few days...has you feel like sh*te for a little while, and then forget you ever had it?

OMG......yes! We all have a "bug" this past week and I found myself yelling over things that were really not a big deal. Tuck in and get better!

The media has been playing up the number of confirmed swine flu 'Victims', in the region, in my town the local GP has confirmed 1...


and yet every person that I have seen today as I've dragged my sorry arse around town, has said, 'Oh you have swine flu! You need to see the doctor!'
