Sure If You Just Want A Date And Have Some Fun With Someone Who You Dont Have A Clue About. 100% OF ALL WOMEN WILL HAVE A DATE BECAUSE THE MEN OUT NUMBER THE WOMEN 3 TO 1 SO NATURALLY WOMEN WILL SAY IT WORKS AND GUYS WHO SURVIVE LONG ENOUGHT WILL SAY THE SAME THING. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME LOOK AT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ONLINE RIGHT NOW THEY ARE MOSTLY MEN. ITS A WOMANS WORLD RIGHT NOW AND THE INTERNET IS A BIG FAT JOKE FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR A LONG TIME RELATIONSHIP ON THE INTERNET. IT DOESNT WORK AND IT NEVER WILL.... FACT: 70% OF ALL LONG TIME RELATIONSHIPS MEET AT WORK AND THAT IS STILL THE BEST PLACE TO MEET YOUR FUTURE SOUL-MATE. WEB SITES LIKE THIS ARE FOR PARTYERS AND SCAM ARTISTS AND THE WEB SITES WHO CHARGE YOU MONEY ARE IN IT FOR!!!!!!! THE MONEY!!!!!!!! WAKE UP USERS AND SMELL THE COFFEE

Thus spoke the blank profile.

I haven't spent a dime on internet dating, and some of the free sites are a lot of fun. Yes, I have met someone from online and things are going quite well.
Yes, most dating web sites are in it for the money, just like any other business. You go to work for the money don't you?
I know I do.

Online dating is just another way to meet people.

Depends on if your lucky enough to hit the lottery, THEN...you might stand a chance at a single's site on the Net, vs real meetings in the real world. Not saying you can't/wont...it's a gamble either way. With the 20+ years on the Net...my money would be put on the real world. This is just my opinion! drinker

Whether this site works for you depends on who you are and what you're looking for- or what you're willing to settle for. If you haven't had luck here, maybe try some other avenues- church groups, community centers, organizations where you might share a common interest, just to name a few.

You also have to remember that this site -- or any other dating site -- is only a small percentage of available singles in the entire world.

The chance of you meeting someone that is attracted to you, and you to them, and live locally to each other, is minimal. Now, let's lower the odds even more with in-person compatibility and relationship success ... whoa

Yes, dating sites are victorious if you have a wonderful profile -- and pix -- that stand out over the thousands of other profiles and you can communicate genuinely, and mutually, with compatible ladies.

Some people are too passive and only enjoy the thrill of an online relationship -- with no intentions of ever meeting; however, other people are aggressive and committed to a dating site doing the leg-work for them with the goal of attracting the right person via their profile.

The best way to handle an online dating site is ‘no expectations/no disappointments’.

Best of luck to you! flowers

Okay this will probably get me slammed since so many people on mingle get mad when you criticize bad spelling and grammar; however you asked for help, so I'm offering it.

This is a site where all of your communication is written. You may decide to take it to "the next level" and talk on the phone or meet, but for now, all you have is the written word. If it's hard to communicate with someone, it is impossible to make a connection with them and take it any further. I am not saying this to be mean, but you are asking for advice, so I'm giving it. I viewed your profile and it was hard to read because of all the misspellings and misplaced words and incomplete sentences. If I was looking to date a man and ran across your profile, I'd try to read a few words and move on, because I wouldn't be willing to take the time it would take to figure it out. Maybe that's the problem you're having.

I realize not everyone is the best speller and some people have difficulty with language, but they have spell check on computers, and you could have someone else look over your profile and tell you what needs fixing before you post it. Making a profile on a dating site is similar to submitting a resume to a potential employer, so you have to put your best foot forward if you want to be considered. I'm sure you are a very nice person and you probably have a lot to offer, but unless you make that information easily accessible, people are going to pass you by.

I wish you good luck with whatever you decide to do, and I sincerely hope I didn't insult you, that wasn't my intention.flowerforyou
