Police discover who's behind the Obama Joker Posters
Posted Aug 15, 2009 by ■ Patrick McMahon Article found here http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/277690 Police in Clermont, Florida, which is outside of Orlando, have questioned a teenager who was seen putting up the posters throughout the local area. Residents of the town found the Obama Joker Posters on light poles, private and public buildings, in mailboxes, and at numerous other locations. Police say the individual in question has confessed to putting up roughly 500 of the posters throughout the central Florida area. Charges have not been filed against the teenager yet because the amount of damage has not been fully calculated. Many of the posters were attached to building using a strong adhesive which is making it exceptionally difficult to remove. Residents in the area are disturbed by the posters due to how frequently they have been appearing and the troubling image associated with it. A break in the mystery of who is behind the Obama Joker posters has been told to investigators by the teenager in the Florida case. Apparently there is a nationwide contest sponsored by a radio talk show host named Alex Jones. Jones hosts a syndicated show on the Genesis Communication Network, and has sponsored the contest that will give $1,000 to the person who has demonstrated they have hung up the most posters. Jones posted on his blog about the contest and had a file of the poster that can be downloaded and printed out for people who wanted to partake in the "contest." The host was also giving out 2nd and 3rd place prizes in the form of $500 and $200. For the runner up, participants could receive an original Alex Jones "Obama as Hitler" piece of artwork. Jones urged people not to place the posters on government property or commit acts of vandalism because it would "diminish the message of the Obama Joker poster. There have been no word of further police action in other states and Jones has not commented publicly on the breaking news in the central Florida case. According to reports, the first case of the Obama Joker poster occurred in Los Angeles and now has spread to countless communities across the United States. Due to the fierce debate on healthcare reform, the President has been the focus of controversial comments and posters depicting his policies as Orwellian, socialistic, fascist, and the president himself as Adolf Hitler. There has been no comment from the White House on the Joker poster rendition of the President. Here is a link to Mr. Jones' blog regarding the "contest" to place the Obama Joker posters all over the place: http://www.infowars.com/the-obama-joker-1000-video-contest/ Here is a YouTube video link detailing the Obama Joker poster contest, which is being sponsored by Alex Jones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k12_OmeCS6Y |

that's the poster he was putting all over town seems like the worst they could get him for would be littering Of course if he is using strong adhesive he is distroying property and people have to be hired to go behind him and clean it up. Person I think he should be required to clean it up himself, and find him something constructive to do.. |

I tried to put up a picture of a light pole with the poster on it but it wouldn't show. the pole was also covered with concert fliers and lost dog fliers and stuff like that
I get the feeling they are after him more because it was Obama than because of the actual paper stuck to stuff |

I didn't care for Bush but I would have said the same had someone posted pictures of Bush as the joker. It says more about the people posting such things than it does about the president. one thing that I like about Obama is his personal strength despite the ugly stuff people say about him. |

personally, I'm okay with Obama
he is doing about all the stuff that I would expect a Democrat to do. Just as Bush did all the stuff I expected a Republican to do so I'm mostly as amused with the righty chicken littles as I was with the lefty chicken littles ![]() |
