is another mans treasure. This past weekend I was stumbling home from the pub and found a beautiful beviled mirror in some ones trash. It just needs a coat of paint stripped off. I have also found a maple sewing machine case that makes a nice table. Has anyone else found any cool stuff in the trash?

when i lived in iowa city, iowa you could find all kinds of good stuff in the students' trash right before a break. once we found a brand new case of beer, and a jar of money. gotta love spoiled college kids.

found a wooden bear souvenir with label from the olympics that was held in germany in an abandoned house. found antique medicine bottles in a trash can.

when i lived in iowa city, iowa you could find all kinds of good stuff in the students' trash right before a break. once we found a brand new case of beer, and a jar of money. gotta love spoiled college kids. HAHA! so true! My sister was the queen of dumpster diving at the end of semesters. That is how she has furnished her apartment now! She was in Cedar Rapids though, not Iowa City. |

I found this homeless man in the dumpster once. I washed him, dressed him in an old suit, named him Giles, and now he lives in my basement and works for me as my butler for 5 shillilngs a week.
