 “Book of Life” As we open and turn each page within this book. Is this our life at which we are taking a look? At times what we look at and see. Is not where we thought we would be. After all this time we sit here at last. And decide to look back within the past. We see things that we have done. Knowing it’s too late to change, for that time is gone. As I sit here and flip each page. I’m reminded that life is but a stage. We stand up in front of the world for all to see. At times we find ourselves down on bended knee. As we wonder when will life go our way? For it seems that everything has gone astray. As we turn the page and finish another chapter. We wonder will we find what we are after. As we go down this road and deal with the strife. Will we take the time to really enjoy this life? Or will we rush through it without a care. Will we throw caution to the wind and dare? To let go and take that chance just to see what will. Happen, and what life could reveal. Or will we sit back and not even try. As we watch each page as it goes by. K.L.M 8/22/2009 |
