Why would anyone assume that just because you sent them an email, the person receiving is obligated to respond? makes no sense folks. They don't respond- they don't want to talk to you.. Move on. This guy makes sense. Besides that, I've responded to too many emails and been cussed out for not feeling the same way as who I'm responding to. I pick and choose who I send replies to... it's easy to see who will respond badly and who will thank you for being honest and up front. Plus, there are plenty of times where I read an email and intend to respond, but something comes up and I forget. I do that to my friends all the time, too! lol |

Sometimes you get so many emails it just takes too much time to keep adding on penpals.
If I am not attracted to someone on a personal level I probably won't respond more than Thank you for your note. Welcome to Mingle. If a much younger person writes I won't respond if it suggests dateing. A well spoken younger individual with a legitimate question maybe. I just don't feel like babysiting or entertaining someone I have nothing in common with because they are bored. |

So we can see who's calling and choose not to answer. If some clod speaks to you on the street and tries to hold you a conversation, are you obligated to stand there just to be polite? Um, no. Social interactions are supposed to be pleasant, not something you do because the other person expects it. I wish people would get off that bs, "no one responds to me, boo hoo." But whatever... Btw, Ethereal, I just did the same thing, logged on read an email, got distracted and almost forgot to answer it

Let me clear this up. I read all profiles then respond so I look for all the relationship status things and I would never email someone and be vulgar or getto. All messages are very nice and they will view my profile and not respond. IM not the hottest guy but I also don't think I am that bad looking.
