I fell off the wagon already.noway Had a couple of cigs the last two days. slaphead Just three though for the whole two days so it is still a good thing. I am going to keep trying though.

Thanks for all the encouragement. It is going to be a hard road. I am eating alot to compensate for the lack of cigs.

Ask your doc for zyban or budeprion. It helps.

Are those the pills for stopping smoking? I don't know much about them. Are they safe? I know that sounds silly considering smokings harmful effects but the side effects from some pills are really bad.

I had probuprion for the first time I quit. Dose was too much. I have budeprion now. Like that much better. Less high. Less craving. More relaxed.

Okay no cigs yesterday and none today so far and less of the gum too. I am scared to leave the house because I want to buy a pack of cigs really really bad. My mind keeps telling me one little puff won't hurt.

I spent the day yesterday reading all the bad things cigs do to us, hoping it would help me but I am still jonesing.

I may have to call the doc about some pills. I don't like wellbutrin though. I have had some friends who took it and they had some problems. Wellbutrin is the bupropion.

Well I guess this will be the log of my progress. Hope it ends with me not smoking ever again.

You're doing good, Dragoness.happy flowers flowers

Just some info. about my Dad. He tried to quit smoking several times. My Mom would call him Hitler because of his mood. lol A couple of times he went to a motel room to be alone when he was withdrawing off the cigs. He tired the gum too. Nothing worked.

Well, he did quit. It's been at least 12 years now. He says that the only way he was able to quit was with Bupropion and the patch. He also stayed on them longer then most. He said that the Buproprion made him not care that he wasn't smoking.
