Cuz, after two other children I thought I knew everything!!!
I realized today I don't! Had I made my son continue sports and go on without going to a doctor, he wouldn't be able to walk in a year!! 
Something to do with irritated growth plates...I am about to look it up on line, but NO impact such as running, jumping or weight bearing for 6 months!!!! |

Are u a nurse? Are u a doctor? Have u taken any kind of medical anatomy course? Ur a Mom we don't always know everything. I've never heard of growth plates so ur not alone. Don't be hard on urself. U got him looked at, u know what's wrong, an u know what to do in order to fix it

IMO a bad mom would be not caring about the child's health. Tami...don't be so hard on yourself. there is no way you could have known this

But it has been bothering him for a year! I thought it was just growing pains
Oh well, problem will be solved now! I just get no football or basketball this year...I would much rather him be walking in a year! |

It's only a year. It'll go by quick an then he can resume sports. Just has to find other activities to get involved in for now.

He can play all sports as long as he don't run
