why would someone who is blind want to know what red looked like? instead i would tell them what something that was red looked like. thats how we all learned what red was. i would describe a rose. a stop sign. blood. the coca cola symbol. target things like that They would have no frame of refeence. Hmmmmmmmmmm.......

what would they do with that knowledge? they cannot feel red they cannot touch red they cannot sense red they cannot see red but they can feel, touch and sense everything else i said [they can touch a rose and a can of coke - they can walk in target - while in a car when they feel their body stopping they know they are at a stop sign and they can feel their blood]....and if i described it well enough they would then know those things were red and that would be stimulating beyond any means |

It would be useless knowledge to them...... well...right you said it a lot more hardcore then i would have... i mean the way I said to do it would be "useless" too whether you go left and then right..or right and then left, you still will get there i just think if im gonna try and teach them what "red" is i would do it that way... i didnt mean any negativity to the question, blind people or women in general

You dont explain it. They are blind, they dont need to beable to distinguish different colours.

Red to the blind... good answer chili isnt red tho...i see orange when i think of chili..or maybe orange-brown and a the crackle of a fire? how does a sound emenate color? and a long deep kiss to me is wet...not red...so that would be blue if anything and the smell of a summer rose? summer roses? i see white yellow pink orange pastels when u say summer rose and velvet against the cheek??? velvet is purple!  ya know what? im walking away from this |

Take away those 'colours' and FEEL them...they give a different form when FELT over seen. |
