When does a friend you had here stop becoming a friend here, even when
you still maintain contact with each other?glasses

I would say when the friendship loses its closeness.

What I'm getting at, for example is, if you are on a persons list of
favourites but not on the friends list anymore.

that person leave maybe or was deleted

Then I would say the same thing. I am sure there are other opinions.

If they were deleted or had left, then there wouldn't be any list of
friends or favourites anyway, would there?glasses

if ya still talk to them and they took u off their favorites.... and u
were never on their friend list... but they do have friends on their
list? then the logical answer would be why dont you ask them to be your
friend? huh?noway

I did make a request to be re added to their list of friends, but they
declined.
Yet I remain on the list of favourites.

Confused.

your friend... im on some favorites but im also their friend... others i

UK, I'm not sure I understand your question, but it sounds like you are
asking 'what it means' to have someone on a friend's list - so I agree
with Buttons, you have to ask the person. Everone uses it slightly
differently. I have people on my list which I don't even talk to very
much privately - I simply admire or respect them for how they are in the
forums. Some people will add any random stranger to their list, and
some people only allow truly close friends on their list. Its all good.

Sorry, previous post was out of sync, and I had not read the second half
of the conversation. Some people use the favorites list just to
bookmark interesting people, regardless of whether they like them.

Thank you Buttons. After some people got in trouble for posting their
pics of their butts, I made sure to censor this otherwise naked carrot
couple.

him on his favorites... he still talks to them often... he sent invite
to be their friend again... they declined... yet he is on their
favorites list still.. and they have other friends on ther friend
list.....

That's what I meant buttons.

why they declined?

So you are asking "Why do they keep me on their favorites, if they don't
want you on their friends list?"
