Essentially every single government is a "capitalist".

It's just who owns the capital (the means of creating a profit/money).

Fascism is a capitalism just like Communism, but the government owns the capital, private ownership is prohibited, actually fascism allows more freedom than Communism, in this case.
The free-est capitalism is actually within USA, compared to the rest of the world.
You do know, that the most widespread political system today in this world is still dictatorship?

To be specific, fascism is a specific type of capitalism in which government has a role in "regulating" business and labor, not pure capitalism. It can also be described as "Corpratism". In pure (laissez-faire) capitalism, the means of production, capital, and profit remain private. I (as well as Jim Rogers and other notable free market economists) would argue that China is more laissez-faire economically than the U.S. (they aren't purely laissez-faire, of course).

Explain this please. What has changed? Why are these different times? How are people so different today then they were in 1945?

Without these questions answered, your comment is a serious fallacy.

You see, you cannot answer this question. I stand behind what i say. I know you don't care that this line of thought is a fallacy, but the problem is this line of thinking enslaves you to the world around you.

This was not an attack, but merely the encouragement of seeking knowledge. Until we all do this, America will never be free again.

You say "fallacy on", i say "Don't worry slave, your masters will take care of you."

You may be busy. I work nearly full time, and i'm a full time student in Premed, i can empathize. So i will give you time to contemplate this question i asked; "What is different, and how does it affect our lives/government responsibilities?" Only because i believe you are intelligent and will grow from seeking this answer.

Well, in the general meaning of term "capitalism" it is still falls under "capitalism", but on the way today we would describe what "capitalism" is, which in today' meaning is "free capitalism". Fascism falls under "national corporatism" just like "Nazism (alias National Socialism), but there are several differences between the 2 (fascism vs. nazism) and unlike many people use them as a political and ideological slur words, they really don't know what they are talking about, they simply use it as an expression (fascist, nazi) to describe "evil". It really comes down that national socialism (is still a socialism!) and fascism based on the "nation" and within the nation, "the race" and ethnicity based on people living within an artificially created border land (called a nation) and share the same ethnicity.

It is actually talking about communism because of the time frame of the video and the message in the video. You know there was a communist party here that was trying to gain foothold at that time.

Totally misunderstood my message. Are you not curious about the world at all? That's ok. My mentioning premed was my attempt to empathize with busy schedules.

Perhaps, for my own understanding, you can answer that question for me. You may not know this, but I do like to see the world from different perspectives...

What is so wrong about getting people to think?

Ok, perhaps i came off the the wrong foot. The problem i have is with people saying "times have changed". This is a cliche tossed around entirely too often and serves as an excuse to override our system of checks and balances.

I have yet to hear someone explain what has changed so much and why that change is relevant to our policies.

She did not want to be taught and that is how you came off, ie "school of thought" comment. Sorry, if that offended, not meant to.

As for the change you speak of, if you are talking about the politics, probably little has changed since then accept maybe worse. If you are talking about the attitudes, well the fear of communism is no longer a great fear unless you are an uneducated person who only knows the key words, commie, socialist, fascist, etc... to explain any political or social stance you don't agree with. But that isn't really the same fear from that time or maybe it is. I think we have grown socially from that time, more work is needed still but we have made progress.
