As the world turns around and fires burn the ground
I seek a true spark of light that illuminates bright.
Pointed East as I pray and give thanks for this day
I ask only for safe passage in to this night.

She ran games on me that I never knew existed.
Had my body and my mind so open and twisted.
This lady insisted I come over for a late night visit.
Always looking at me like I was the cheese for her triscuit.

I tried escaping honeys clutches like my name was Snake Plissken.
Ravishing doesn't describe her beauty very well at all.
If I was to call her physical features flawless it wouldn't be a misprint.
As the evening progressed her conversation had me enthralled.

Keeping close watch of the clock while my heart beats hard.
Hustle everyday to make ends meet staying focused and on guard.
In this arena I have never been so clearly overly matched.
She raised my awareness and showed me just how to relax.

Body massage with truffles and the wine was vintage.
I came real and it seemed to completely spark her interest.
No double talk just the facts and cold hard truth.
I answered every questioned she asked and backed it all up with proof.

Now she's looking at me like I got the cure for cancer!
Is it because for every questioned asked I had a good answer?
I'm not the best dancer so I'm always up front and quite frank.
As long as I'm with you you'll never have to go to the bank.

I got you babe just like Cher had Sonny.
She likes her eggs scrambled & hard not soft & runny.
If my jokes aren't funny she wont fake a courtesy laugh.
She always prefers a short cold shower before a long hot bath.

Says the exhilaration reminds her the body has many levels of sensation.
I watched through the shower glass door trying to resist this great temptation.
The cold water caused goose bumps to raise up all over her skin.
I'm feeling embarrassed but at the same time I know I have a devilish grin.

If I jump in I suppose I'm just a slave to the moment.
I want to ensure love for the future of which sex is just a small component.
I walked away an wrote a note and left it under her wine glass.
It read "I want to thank you for showing me a really wonderful time and your fine a$$"!

I went home and turned the lights on but kept them low.
I took a cold shower myself to help make the rigidness go.
Prayers answered as I was blessed with sweet elation.
I ask only for safe passage in to this next day and thank God for this great temptation.
