I know Izzie, it takes time, but will get better with time. I got
lucky, mine finally died (sorry, that sounded bad but he drank himself
to death).

Any time you have a weak moment, you look at your children and wonder
what would happen to them if you weren't there to take care of them,
that is what I did, and it helped me be strong and keep going.

Also there are battered women's support groups out there, I went to one,
was incredibly helpful, met wonderful women through it, and learned a
lot, opened my eyes wide open. Something to think about.

She was a big time drunk at end of relationship

IT was 13 years ago...it lasted 2 years...2 years too long..as far as
fault, blame..both of ours...his because he tunred me on to something
that nearly destryoed me, mine for allowing it to happen....my dealer,my
lover, and in the end my abuser

my last relationship was very short lived...

I taught him a few things though

Hummm actually my last one ended on mutual grounds we were just not what
the other was looking for. We still talk once in a while but only as
friends Sometimes you just know its not what each is really happy with
so why not part as friends if you can. Little by little our talks have
been farther apart. But we did leave on mutual grounds no hard feelings.

mine ended about 3 months ago then about a month ago I got a few texts
from him then yesterday a message... it ended on mutual ground and i
have no problem being friends, but it was a while b4 we started talkin
again.
