for the holidays.How you dealing with it?

Well alone as in single but I go see my family for the Holidays.
Have a Holiday get together with friends- we used to have Thanksgiving for all the misfits in town when i lived in Florida- it was fun and all people that did not have family in the area had someone to celebrate with noone should be alone in any sense of the word for the Holidays |

It's been just me and my boys for so long now...use to it. I'd like to try it out with someone, would be something new for me. It has changed over the years though, now their not little kids, we don't make a big fuss.

I try not to give it too much thought to be honest, but the loneliness does creep in every once in a while. When it does, I try to hang with my kiddo and get extra hugs and kisses.
|

I go to my sister's in the am and a friends in the afternoon.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
This will be my first time alone..without my kids, without my family...not sure how I am going to handle it. Guess I will know when the time gets here.

working a lot and try not to think about it hehe... holidays alone in my opinion is like being alone every other day. There are three ways to spend the holidays if you're alone, spend it alone and sulk, settle for someone because you are alone, or you can spend it with your friends and family (while looking for someone) and hope that by next christmas you will find that one person that will spend the next fifty years enjoying the holidays with you.

I have my 18 yr old son, plus my family lives within 4 minutes of each other...so I am hardly ever alone. As far as someone "special" being there...doesn't bother me not having anyone like that
|

I have my daughters, a wonderful girlfriend from Mingle, so I will be fine.
Volunteer for anything, people are real busy and tend to cut back on regular volunteering. Participate in any Holiday events, you might meet someone!!! |

I have been single for a while, I do a little celebrating for my son, but nothing big. It would be nice to have a significant other to celebrate with, but it's not anything that would bum me out!
